No matter who you are or where you fit on this continuum, there is a place for you in the Inspire family. Come as you are and embrace the adventure of connecting with God, growing in community, and inspiring the world. What does it mean to be a “family on mission”?

“Family OR Mission crushes us, because we have to sacrifice one thing or the other, while both are necessary if we’re going to live out the call of God. Family AND Mission exhausts us, because we need to manage the boundaries between family and mission. Thus our family life never quite feels purposeful, and our mission life never quite feels natural. Family ON Mission empowers us, because we learn to live an integrated life, moving forward in mission as a pack, as a covenant family with a kingdom mission.” (Mike Breen)

4 Elements of Community. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)

The Word of God. Authentic Relationships, Fellowship, & Partnership. Eating together. Prayer
Membership Culture vs. Missionary Culture. Every member is on a 24/7 mission trip. Every member has a divine call to be a blessing to their neighbors, the nations, and the next generation. A Healing Community

The local church is to be a place where hurting people experience healing and wholeness for spirit, soul, and body. While we relate to God individually, we become a part of a group. This group, called the church, functions together to accomplish the will of God in the earth. We minister to one another and reach the world. We protect and care for one another. We become a part of an extended family that grows in relationships. It is through our relationships with people that our Christianity is developed. Our involvement with people is where our love for God is reflected, expressed, and often experienced. (Dr. Jim Richards)

The Balanced Up, In, & Out Lifestyle. Up—Developing intimacy with God. In—Building the Church Community. Out—Reaching the unchurched. OUR MESSAGE

It it’s not good news, it’s not the gospel! For I am not ashamed of the gospel (GOOD NEWS), because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)

The Great Exchange

Jesus was punished and made sin with your sinfulness so that you might be forgiven and made righteous. (Is. 53:4-5; Is. 53:10; Is. 61:10; II Cor. 5:21). Jesus was wounded that you might be healed. (Is. 53:4-5; I Peter 2:24)
Jesus was made a curse and died your death that you might receive the blessing and share in the life of Christ. (Galatians 3:13-14; Ephesians 1:3; Hebrews 2:9)
Jesus endured your poverty that you might share His abundance. (II Corinthians 8:9; 9:8
Jesus bore your shame that you might share His glory. (Matthew 27:35-36, Hebrews 12:2; 2:9)
Jesus endured your rejection that you might enjoy His acceptance. (Matt. 27:46-51; Eph. 1:5-6)
Jesus was cut off by death that you might be joined to God eternally. (Isaiah 53:8; I Cor. 6:17)
Your old man died in Jesus that Christ might live in you. (Romans 6:6; Colossians 3:9-10)
Paul was not ashamed of the good news. The gospel includes every area of the Great Exchange that took place through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It is critically important that we know Jesus dealt with our sins. It is also critically important that we know Jesus dealt with our sicknesses, pains, poverty, lack, depression, shame, rejection, condemnation, death , old man, mourning, griefs, sorrow, heaviness, and despair. Salvation is an all-inclusive deal. These areas are not “extras” or “add-ons”. Take one part of this exchange away and you no longer have a complete good news message. The Father gave the world His Son and that “Son-solution” is ALL sufficient! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

God’s Redemptive Names Reveal His Nature. Jehovah Tsidkenu-God my Righteousness. (Jeremiah 23:6)

Jehovah Raah-God my Guide and Shepherd.( Psalm 23:1)
Jehovah Rapha-God my Healer/Physician.( Exodus 15:26)
Jehovah Jireh-God my Provider and Source.( Gen. 22:8-14)
Jehovah Shammah- God is with me, Present right now. (Ezekiel 48:35)
Jehovah Nissi- God my Victory. (Exodus 17:15)
Intimacy, Identity, Inheritance

We want to help you experience intimacy with God, discover your identity in Christ, and learn how to enjoy the inheritance that you now share with Jesus. Key Scriptures for Inspire

“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.” (Mathew 10:7,8)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you [f]always, even to the end of the age.” (Mathew 28:19-20)

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the [d]saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the [e]knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature [f]which belongs to the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

“For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men’s sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.” ( 2 Corinthians 5:19)

The medicine is free; the cure is certain. Health for sick humanity ! Medicine for a diseased world! A Physician for a dying race! Such are the messages which we bring." ( Horatius Bonar)

“God sent this to teach me.”

I hear this a lot. Many times people will say that God sent some type of pain, tragedy, disease, loss, or calamity to help them learn some valuable spiritual lesson.

The truth is, God did send you “something” to teach you, but it wasn’t calamity or tragedy. He has actually sent you Someone to teach you and guide you into spiritual realities.

What did Jesus really say that He would send us to teach us?

“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you... But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth..”( John 16:7,13)

God didn’t send the hurt. He sent you the Helper. God didn’t send you the tragedy. He sent you the Teacher of Teachers. He is the Comforter, not the Punisher. Learn to learn from Him.

Supernatural healing, modern medicine, and the historical view of the church on both.

“ When one seeks help in illness it is possible to use the usual and simple method of medicine. It is also possible to use the higher and better way and seek blessing from Him who is God above all, and seek Him in devotion and prayer.” ( Origen, A.D 185-253)

There has always been a tension between supernatural healing and modern medicine. Some believers are only for the “divine way”. Some are for the “practical way”. Some are for both. Some say it is irresponsible to use modern medicine. Some say it is irresponsible not to.

What we do know for certain is that the Bible teaches man is made of 3 parts. Spirit, soul, and body and that for man to truly experience healing and health, all 3 parts of man must be considered. Any treatment that just focuses on the body while ignoring the spirit or soul will not bring wholeness.

So then, In light of the Bible and the historical position of the church, no believer should be condemned when they choose to use modern medicine in an illness. Likewise, in light of the Bible and the historical position of the church, no believer should be condemned or labeled “fanatical” if they choose to, after much prayer, trust Jesus apart from modern medicine.

Agree or disagree, this is the classical/historical, “balanced” position of the church.

So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance. ( Hebrews 6:12 TPT)
