Cary Schmidt led a session on building a healthy church culture and used two analogies for how churches operate.

One was a machine shop, where production is forced to happen.

The other was a greenhouse, where the right conditions are cultivated so growth happens organically.

Both produce something in the end, but only one reflects a healthy church culture.

Our goal is to cultivate gospel-shaped conditions that facilitate growth.

This session was incredibly helpful.

What a beautiful day of worship and remembrance of the freedom we have in Christ because of His ultimate sacrifice on the cross and the freedom we have in our country because of those who have given their lives.

Here’s a small recap of the closing Awana program this week!

The kids had a great time with showing off what they’ve learned through the season, food and fellowship and doing tie-dye!

Thank you again for all those who were involved in this children’s program in making this possible!
