Ohana is tomorrow night from 6-9pm! Come spend the evening with your Roots family as we kick off our fall Wednesday nights!

We’ll provide the cheeseburgers and chips. Bring a generous side or dessert to add to the table, then plan to stay and enjoy the evening together.

Youth Group will be joining in on Ohana too, so bring the whole family and come spend the evening with us! We’re looking forward to a fun night together!

Missions Monday: This week, remember the girls at the Safe House in Nepal as they go about the normal, everyday work of learning.

Whether they are participating in vocational training or attending traditional school, the girls spend time each evening studying. This gives them an opportunity to complete homework and review what they've learned, often working through lessons together.

For girls who have grown up believing they are not enough, these everyday opportunities matter. Please pray that as they learn, they would grow in confidence and begin to see themselves through the truth of how God sees them.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the girls and the ministry of the Safe House.

Join us tomorrow at 9am or 11am as we continue through Luke 6.

As we heard last week, after a time of prayer Jesus gathers His twelve disciples and begins a message known as the Sermon on the Plain. Continuing in Luke 6:37-49, Jesus challenges them in their attitudes toward grace, forgiveness and mercy.

He then ends with an exhortation to consider how, what and where we are building our lives.

Branches Home Groups are getting ready to launch for the fall!

Home Groups are a place to continue in God’s Word beyond Sunday mornings while building relationships with others in the church. Groups meet weekly to discuss the previous Sunday’s message and spend time praying together.

If you’re interested in joining a Home Group this fall, stop by the Branches table in the entry this Sunday. You’ll be able to see all of the available groups and sign up for the one that works best for you.

Missions Monday! This week, we're praying for South Korea, where su***de has become the fifth-leading cause of death overall. Behind that statistic are individuals and families experiencing very real pain.

Please pray for those who are struggling with hopelessness and despair. Pray that the Church in Korea would see those who are hurting and come alongside them with tangible care, pointing them to the hope found in Jesus.
