Please join us at the Viborg Church of the Nazarene on Easter morning as we celebrate our risen Savior with a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m., followed by Easter Breakfast. We will also have our regular service at 10 a.m. that day. All are welcome to attend!

All are welcome to join us at the Viborg Church of the Nazarene for our Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3 as we commemorate the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ on the cross. It will be a time of music, scripture and remembrance of the amazing work of the cross. All are invited to attend, we’re ready to welcome you home at the Church of the Nazarene!

Pioneer Memorial Hospital Announces David Maxson Employee of the Month for March

David Maxson, Maintenance Assistant for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services, has been named as the March Employee of the Month. David started working with Pioneer Memorial September 2021.

In David’s role, he is responsible for facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair/setup/work with residents and staff as needed.

David lives Viborg with his wife Mary. They have two sons; and four grandchildren who he looks forward to seeing.

In his free time, David enjoys woodworking, bird watching, but mainly a homebody when not engaged in ministerial work. David is a bi-vocational pastor for the Viborg Church of Nazarene

Those who nominated David said that he is a wonderful Pioneer Memorial employee, he is ALWAYS willing to help everyone! He always has a smile on and does an awesome job of all his work. David has been a wonderful addition to the maintenance team!

When asked what he thought of the award David stated, “We have wonderful people who call this home and awesome staff who genuinely care for them. It is a joy to be apart & help others.”

David certainly demonstrates his commitment to teamwork and is an outstanding asset to Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services! Congratulations David Maxson on a well-deserved recognition.
