Welcome to Grace! Today we celebrate Pentecost that takes place 50 days after Easter. The church has been through trials throughout the ages, yet it still remains. The Spirit of God is mighty and powerful, and guides the church to proclaim the message of Jesus in all known languages throughout the world. Pastor Dorow shares a special message about the church and the role it has in proclaming the gospel both locally and abroad.

This Sunday, we will celebrate the Ascension of our Lord. As we will read in the Gospel of Luke 24:44-53, Jesus is as taken up into heaven from the earth. This day reminds us that despite struggles and trials in this world, we have joy knowing He remains with us through His gifts of Word and Sacrament. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. See you on Sunday, as Pastor Dorow shares a special message on Ascension Sunday.

Mothers nuture, provide, encourage, guide and sometimes discipline their children. There is a hidden majesty in mothers. Let's listen and learn about the special place mothers have as we honor mothers on this day.

Welcome to the Grace Lutheran Church. In today' sermon, we study the gospel lesson. When Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you..." Some may think of heaven. Pastor Dorow points out, this place is the cross. We are the ones who need to prepared. We do not expect to see God as a sacrificial servant. When Philip asks of Jesus to show the Father, that will be enough. Is it enough? Jesus is enough.

Welcome to the Grace Lutheran Church. In today's sermon, Pastor Dorow helps us to understand more about Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd, defines the relationship between God and man. In this Psalm, David is speaking of the shepherd as the messiah. A good shepherd is devoted to leading, and protecting his sheep from dangers- even themselves. The last verse explains that Jesus ensures that we have an eternal home. He leads the flock into the gates of a loving home forever. Do you know someone who yearns to be in the flock of the Good Shepherd?

Early on Easter morning, the "angel," a word which means "messenger," announced what he knew to be true: the tomb was empty because Christ had risen. The women were initially overcome with fear, as anyone would be if confronted by a holy herald from God. Their physical eyes would not see our Lord until He revealed Himself. But we have been given the angel's eyes, as it were, for by faith we see our Lord with us now. The news the angel proclaimed is too good to keep to ourselves. As God's messengers today, it is our turn to tell the world that He is risen indeed - Alleluia!
