Beloved, the world grows daily more savage toward the Lord Jesus and all who bear His name, and many a tender heart is shaken by it. But hear the apostles, those bruised and bleeding men. They counted it joy, pure joy, to suffer reproach for His sake! Shall we then tremble at the very furnace they walked through singing?

Lift up your heads. The rising tide of hatred is no cause for fear. It is a summons to courage. The devil does not waste his arrows on the soldier asleep in his tent. He saves his sharpest darts for the saint who marches under the banner of the cross with the gospel burning on his tongue.

So cease your fretting over what the world thinks of you. The opinions of dying men cannot purchase one grain of eternity. Up, Christian, up! DO SOMETHING for your Saviour while the breath of life is yet in you. The night is coming when no man can work. The harvest stands ready. And the King of Kings is worthy.

Will you be left behind? The Rapture is the next event on God’s timeline. Christians will leave the earth and be “caught up” into Heaven.

The Greek word for caught up is harpazō
and it occurs in both this passage, 2 Corinthians 2:2&4 (Paul being caught up to the Third Heaven) and also Acts 8:39 (where Philip is transported out of the desert instantaneously to Azotus, miles away) and elsewhere.

Come to a church where you can have your questions answered. The Bible was not meant to confuse you. God designed it so that you can be CERTAIN of its truth, especially about how you can be saved from the Great Tribulation, which will occur after the Rapture. It could happen at any time!
