Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, faith, and contributions of African Americans throughout our nation's history.

As we reflect on the meaning of freedom, justice, and human dignity, may we continue to work toward a community where all people are valued, respected, and loved. We give thanks for those who have persevered in the struggle for equality and pray for wisdom, understanding, and peace as we journey together.
