We wrapped up our Kingdom Kidz YOLO Day Camp on a triumphant note, diving into Acts 5 and exploring the powerful lesson of honesty and integrity with the story of Ananias and Sapphira. Our morning took a compassionate turn as we made ham and cheese sandwiches and delivered 30 nourishing bagged lunches to the Verona Community Center clients. A fun afternoon at the pool wrapped up our camp, leaving everyone energized and inspired. Huge thanks to Trina Cook for her morning support and to Pastor Shawna and Lori Hickman for their pool time supervision. The kids loved their week together and were sad to see it come to an end! What a joy they have been!

Today, our Kingdom KidZ reflected on the gift of family and the love that binds us together, exploring lessons from Genesis 37 about Joseph and his brothers. We discovered the power of forgiveness and conflict resolution in nurturing stronger family bonds. Our adventure continued with a screening of the movie David, followed by a meaningful visit to church members in an assisted living facility, spreading joy and connection. What a blessed day filled with gratitude for these precious kids and the adults who dedicate their time to guiding them! Special thanks to Pastor Sean, Paster Sue MacTavish, Pastor Shawna and Lori Hickman for spending the day with us!

The Kingdom Kidz Day Camp's second day was packed with excitement. Our Bible study time centered around 1 Samuel 20, the story of David and Jonathan, teaching kids about the importance of true friendships. Special thanks to Carol Brydge for spearheading the morning's gift-making project for nursing home and home bound residents. We also appreciate Sandy Schlesinger and Lori Hickman for joining us at Valley Jump for an afternoon of pure joy! Yes, it takes a village to pull a day like this one off!

Kingdom Kidz Day Camp kicked off today! Our first day was AWESOME! We worked in the church food pantry this morning, cleaning and stocking. This afternoon we took a nice ride to Augusta Springs Wetland Park and enjoyed a picnic lunch and a fun hike. We also had the opportunity to talk to the Appalachian Conservation Team. They were so good to talk with! Shout out to Sue Leonard for leading our hike and Lori Hickman for being getting us around safely!
