We must all remember there are only two people that are willing to sacrifice their life for your freedom!
Jesus Christ ✝️ and the American Soldier 🇺🇸.

We must never forget the sacrifice made by each. We would not have the freedoms we have today if not for both.

Today let’s celebrate those freedoms together! Share time with friends. Say a prayer of thanksgiving to the Lord. Visit a soldier memorial. Teach your kids about those that went before us.

Never forget!
In God we Trust!

The Lord gives and He takes away. Today I am reminded of this verse from Job, as we have lost a dear friend and brother in Christ.
But the question remains, do we trust in God, even when He takes away? Or only when He provides?
Might I propose this, if we only trust God when He provides do we truly trust Him, or have we thought upon Him as a genie in a bottle?
Everything and everyone we have is Gods creation. It’s His to do as He chooses. We must believe that. Once we do our hope will be restored!

So, if you are in a season of loss I would encourage you to lean in, draw nearer to God. What is He teaching you in this season? Is He trying to mold you into who He needs you to be for His glory? God is working ALL THINGS for His glory and His Good!

May you find rest and peace in Him!

Job 1:21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”
In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is having fear and pressing forward anyhow.

Fear can be a paralyzing trait. It can hold us back from the greatest victories that God has for us. Or we can choose that even in the face of fear, we can boldly take one step. And that step may just be the most important one in your whole life.
So if today is your day, today is the day you draw a line in the sand and say no fear, you will not have victory over me. I have courage and I’m gonna take the first step.

Your capacity to learn determines your capacity to lead.

I’ve had many colleagues/friends recently tell me that just can’t read. They either say they don’t have time or have issues with retention. These are all excuses. We can do ANYTHING we put our minds to, that is IF we truly want to grow.

My theory is, “if you stop learning, you essentially will stop leading.”

We are each given talents from God. Will you be the one who buried your talent in the sand? Or will you be the one who multiplied their talents?

Your choice. Your future.

Why do so many leaders fail at leading?

They don’t learn to serve. Servant leaders are the only leaders who will fuel their team/followers.

Why don’t more leaders serve? EGO/PRIDE

Ego is a powerful thing. When we become the most important thing in our life we

God
Out
That’s the definition of EGO.

When our pride takes over we lead by control instead of leading by serving.

A servant leader has the heart of Jesus.
A servant leader models that which is easily duplicated.
A servant leader, leads by example and serves the people they lead.

Without vision, you will never get to your destination.

Great leaders must have vision/direction. They must also articulate that vision to their team. If your people don’t know where they are going, there is very little chance they will get there.

In the picture below it would be easy to say, how does she know where she’s going? But the truth is she has studied the course. She has thought through the outcome. She saw the vision.
And she successfully got to her destination with a par!

Jesus spent his time in ministry teaching and sharing Gods vision for His people. We should go and do likewise.

Leaders are listeners.

If you want to be a good leader, you must first learn to listen. Your team is telling you everything you need to know. God gave you two ears and one mouth. Let that sink in.

A great teacher must know the student in an effort to lead them well.

Folks if it’s not already been clear to you we live in a sick, sinful world.

When did it become ok that you can take someone’s life just because you disagree with what they believe?

Isn’t America the”Land of the Free”?

But are we truly free anymore? Or have we become slaves to our Pride? Have we become overcome with the need to be right?

What happened to the term agree to disagree? Why do we feel the need to silence anyone that believes differently than we do?

I know for me I have friends of every race, creed, belief or unbelief. And you know what, I love every one of them the same. They all are children of God. They all deserve to be treated with respect. Can I disagree with a lifestyle or belief? Absolutely, but I do it in love. I do it with respect for them.

We cannot stand for this anymore. It’s time Americans return to their first love. It’s time we stand up for what’s right. Love your neighbor. The most important command.

Folks if we don’t stand up to these detestable events, our country is headed for destruction.

Other countries live in fear of war from their surrounding countries. In America we kill our own. What is wrong folks?

In God’s word it says if we will repent of our wickedness, God is faithful and He will restore/heal our land.
It’s time for God fearing people to hit their knees and beg for forgiveness! It’s time to pray for our country, our leaders and our pastors. We should all be doing this daily.

Our country is in turmoil.

The word also tells us that the enemy (satan) seeks to kill, steal and destroy. And we have all seen this.

So what will you do? Will you sit back on your comfy couch and be glad it hasn’t affected your family? Or will you honor God with your words and your actions?

And for anyone reading this that hasn’t made Jesus your Lord and Savior I want to give that opportunity right now. His word says in Romans 10:13 if you call on His name and believe upon Him you WILL BE saved. You today can have your name written in the book of life and He will remember your sins no more!
If this is you, I want you to say a prayer, ask God to forgive you for your sins you have committed, ask Him to come into your heart!
