Tours of the property will be offered on foot, by golf cart, or by tractor-pulled hay ride, with video presentations at featured buildings.
American country singer-songwriter Kenzie Wheeler, a finalist on “The Voice,” will perform an acoustic set from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. under large white tents over the pickleball courts. He is expected to play selections from his catalog and debut a new single. Wheeler will be available for photos and autographs before his performance.
Other activities include co****le, bounce houses, face painting, mechanical bull rides, a photo booth, an in-studio podcast opportunity, bowling, arcade games, and a visit to the general store. The property's ponds will be stocked for fishing.
A concluding program begins at 6:30 p.m. It will feature guest speakers and professionally produced videos outlining The Source’s vision, recent achievements, and plans related to housing and support services in the county.
Sponsors listed for the event include ABC Printing, the Bailey Family Foundation, Berg Insurance Group, the Bernard Egan Foundation, the Frazier Foundation, the Higgs Family Foundation, Golf Cart Center of Vero Beach, Indian River Region AACA, Island Images Photography, SouthState Bank, United Healthcare Services Inc., and several individual donors.
