Happy Labor Day!

Today, we give thanks for the gift of work and for all those who serve our families, communities, and one another through their daily efforts.

As we enjoy this day of rest, may we remember the words of Colossians 3:23:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”

Wishing you and your family a safe, restful, and blessed Labor Day! ❤️

Dealing With Sin in the Church

15 “If your brother or sister[a] sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector. 18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[e] loosed in heaven. 19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Welcome, September!

There’s something special about the beginning of a new month. It gives us a chance to pause, reflect on where we’ve been, and look ahead with hope for what’s to come.

As we enter September, may we remember that God is present in every season—guiding our steps, renewing our hearts, and giving us opportunities to be a blessing to others.

Whatever this month brings, may we meet it with faith, gratitude, and joy.

Wishing you and your family a beautiful and blessed September!

1 Bel bows down, Nebo stoops low;
their idols are borne by beasts of burden.
The images that are carried about are burdensome,
a burden for the weary.
2 They stoop and bow down together;
unable to rescue the burden,
they themselves go off into captivity.
3 “Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob,
all the remnant of the people of Israel,
you whom I have upheld since your birth,
and have carried since you were born.
4 Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
5 “With whom will you compare me or count me equal?
To whom will you liken me that we may be compared?
6 Some pour out gold from their bags
and weigh out silver on the scales;
they hire a goldsmith to make it into a god,
and they bow down and worship it.
7 They lift it to their shoulders and carry it;
they set it up in its place, and there it stands.
From that spot it cannot move.
Even though someone cries out to it, it cannot answer;
it cannot save them from their troubles.
8 “Remember this, keep it in mind,
take it to heart, you rebels.
9 Remember the former things, those of long ago;
I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
what I have planned, that I will do.
12 Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,
you who are now far from my righteousness.
13 I am bringing my righteousness near,
it is not far away;
and my salvation will not be delayed.
I will grant salvation to Zion,
my splendor to Israel.

Vero Beach Magazine recently featured Peter and the incredible work he is doing with our youth choir! From helping young people discover their voices to building confidence, friendships, and a true sense of belonging, Peter is making a lasting impact on the lives of our students.

We are so grateful for the passion, encouragement, and love he pours into our youth and their music ministry every week!
