Good Afternoon!
I have just finished my preparation for tomorrow's installment of our study in Revelation... I'm exhausted : )

Lord willing, in our 9:00 AM Bible study we will continue in our study of Revelation chapter 1.
We will outline who this letter is for, and seek to define some of the elements that are often misinterpreted, thus causing fear because we do not fully understand them.
As I have said before, I am not a scholar by any stretch of the imagination, but I also know and believe that God has given ALL of His inspired word for us to read and understand His will for us. And in that... We can all be comforted in believing the truth!
As Paul wrote in Ephesians 3: 3-4 - "how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)"
We can learn all that God would have for us to know, but we must also be willing to obey what His word has shown us.

Then, in our 100:00 AM worship, I will seek to remind us all that there is Joy To Be Found In God's Word! As David wrote in
Psalm 16:11 - "You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
He has shown us this through His word.

So, please make time to come worship with us. Let's study together and learn only what God has revealed through His word; so that one day we may all hear, "Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord!"

Good Morning All

Lord willing, tomorrow in our 9:00 AM Bible study, we will start chapter one in our reading of Revelation. As we said in our introduction; we do not have to fear this book. Our heavenly Father has revealed these things for us to understand, it is meant to be a comfort for those who read it. It is to encourage trust and faithfulness to God, in spite of any trouble that we may be facing. Remember - God Wins! (So will those who are His when He sends His Son.)

Then, in our 10:00 AM worship, we will examine the washing of the disciple's feet, and seek to learn what it means to "Love As Jesus Loves."

So, won't you please come, study and worship with us. We will be encouraged by your presence, and we will seek to encourage you with the truth of God's word.

Good Morning All!
Walked the dog this morning and got to wear my fleece jacket for the first time this year!

God is an awesome God, so pray for those who are in the path of this storm. May they have the wisdom to do all that is needed to remain safe! And may we all consider our hearts and where we are in Him so that He will see us safely through all the storms of this life.

Lord willing, in tonight's Bible study in Isaiah, we will continue in lesson 4. In context, we are in the last days of the southern kingdom of Judah and Jerusalem. Isaiah is proclaiming God's indictment on their wickedness, and yet still giving them opportunity to repent. Isaiah 5:1-6:13

Please come out and look to His word for the comfort He has for those who will turn to Him, and not reject the love He and His children have for you!

Good Morning To All
WOW! What a beautiful way to start the day! I took the pooch for a walk and the thermometer read 57 degrees! YES!

Lord willing, tomorrow in our 9:00 AM Bible study, we will begin John's book of Revelation. As many of you know - I am not a scholar by any stretch of the imagination - but we will seek to show how his letter has been misunderstood and misrepresented by so many people.
It is NOT the book of doom it is often portrayed to be, rather it is to be a letter of comfort and encouragement for God's children to be faithful. As what was written to the church in Smyrna in Revelation 2:10 "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."
Do we believe God's promise?

Then in our 10:00 AM worship, we will look at how the Bible defines hate. The world as redefined what it means to hate, and those things we are to hate, so we will look at what the inspired word of God says about hate, and learn how it teaches us to truly love as God loves.

Please join us as we seek to truly serve God, and live the life He has given us to live - faithful to the end - loving as He loves. Seeking to teach His truth in love. (Ephesians 4:15)

Good Afternoon.

Lord willing, tonight we will conclude our study of Jude. As I have said before, "for such a short letter; Jude packs a powerful punch!"
When it comes to "things that are hard to understand" (2 Peter 3:16), Jude exhorts his readers on how God's beloved are to carry themselves regardless of the worldly influences that seek to weaken our faith.
Jude 1:21 - "keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Please join us tonight at 7:00 for a study that will only look to the word of God to guide us into His truth.

Scheduling note:
Lord willing, this Sunday, we will start our study in the book of Revelation. We will move our study of Isaiah to our Wednesday night study.

Please join us as we seek to gain a true understanding of all that God would have for us to know in service to Him for the saving of our soul. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Good Morning Everyone!
I had a really busy day yesterday and still feel as if I got nothing accomplished... Do you ever feel that way?
The thing I have learned is that there will be days like that, but if we have faithfully done all in service to our God... The day is never wasted!

Lord willing, tomorrow in our 9:00 AM Bible study, we will continue in lesson #4 in our study in Isaiah. This is where God lays out His indictments against the people of Judah and Jerusalem.
Isaiah 5:4 - "What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes?"
The people had forsaken all faith in God and rejected God's plea for them to return.

Then in our 10:00 AM worship, we will look at "Being Faithful Children Of God."
All of those faithful we read about in scripture were simply ordinary men and women of faith, just as we strive to be. We must understand that God has never required "greatness" from His children, only "faithfulness."
1 Corinthians 4:2 - "Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful."

Please come and look to the word of God. Just as God has always sent those who would speak His truth, that is what we strive to do; learn and do the will of God.
We would love an opportunity to study with you.

Please, let us know how we can help you to learn the word of God.

Good Morning.

Lord willing, in tonight's Bible study of Jude, we will be looking at verses 9-15. It always amazes me how much information is to be found in such a short letter. (As with every page of scripture; it only takes a willing heart to search His word to find the treasures He has for all of us!)

Also, there will be a change in our Sunday and Wednesday studies coming soon.
After our study of Jude is completed next week, we will be starting in the book of Revelation. This will be moved to our Sunday morning Bible study (9:00 AM), and our study of Isaiah will be moved to our Wednesday night study.

Please come to encourage, and be encouraged, as we seek to grow in our faith and knowledge of the word of God.

09/10/2022

Good Morning.

Lord willing, in tomorrow's Bible study, we will continue our study in Isaiah. We will finish up in lesson three, and start into lesson four. We will look to his parable in chapter 5, that was meant to reveal to the people of Judah and Jerusalem what their attitude had become in the sight of God. (Note how similar this is to Jesus' parable of the wicked vinedresser's in Matthew 21:33-46)

Then, in our worship hour, I will present a lesson that I hope will help us determine what our attitude should be in regard to all that God has done for us. "Have we truly been converted?" Or have we become like the Israelites in the days of Isaiah and feel as if true service to God and to our brethren have become a burden.

Please join us at 9:00 AM for the Bible study and 10:00 AM for our worship service.
