September 11 — We Remember

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, first responders, and communities forever changed by that day.

God, we pray that You would comfort us in our mourning today. Bring peace to those who still carry the pain of loss, strengthen those who continue to grieve, and help us never forget the courage, sacrifice, and compassion displayed in the days that followed.

May we remember, may we pray, and may we place our hope in the God who draws near to the brokenhearted. 🙏

Sometimes God gives us a little reminder to slow down and look up. 🌅

Tonight, this was the view from church. The sky just seemed to glow, and for a few minutes everything felt still.

God is pretty good at reminding us that His beauty is all around us—even in the middle of an ordinary Wednesday.

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” — Psalm 19:1

What a beautiful way to end the day. ❤️

🙏 Prayer isn’t something we do only when everything else has been tried. It is not an afterthought—it is one of the greatest ways we can participate in what God is doing.
When we pray, we acknowledge that God is at work, God is able, and we need Him.

May we become people who don’t simply believe in the power of prayer, but who actually pray—faithfully, consistently, and expectantly.

“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17🙏

In a world filled with countless paths, opinions, and directions, it can be easy to wonder which way to go.

But Jesus doesn’t simply point us toward a way—He tells us, “I am the way.”

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6

When you don’t know which direction to take, look to Jesus. Follow Him. Trust Him. He is the way. ✝️

God is not far away. But sometimes the noise, busyness, and distractions of life can keep us from noticing His presence.

Slow down. Be still. Turn your heart toward Him.

Don’t let the noise of life drown out the voice of God. 🙏
