So, another season is in the books!! First off, thanks to God for all of His blessings and His mercy to allow us to have another season and for it being relatively injury free. Thank you to all of our coaches that give up their time and knowledge to share with the kids. Thank you to all of the players and their families and friends that supported the league. Thank you to our officials, including our lead official, Pete Thomas. Thank you to all of you that helped in any way, setting up/tearing down chairs, helping clean up, whatever it was, it all helps! Thank you to Buddy & Will Quertinmont, Joe & Luke Martin who provided a lot of help with scoring, etc. A special thank you to Mike & Michelle Emerick, who stepped in on February 7th, a very dark day when Ron Sible passed away unexpectedly. Special thanks to Pastor Russ Brown from Mt Moriah Christian School and Rooted Church and Tim Florian from Young Life, our guest speakers this year! Thanks to Pastor Heather Simpson, pastor at Central Christian Church for helping with opening prayers. Also, thanks to her husband Mike, a long time league officer, that also continues to help out keeping an eye on our finances. Thank you to the Uniontown YMCA, it's administrators, staff and members that were gracious hosts to the league. Last, but certainly not least, a HUGE thank you to my family, Elaine, Evan, Eric & Ellie that all give up their Saturdays & Wednesdays to keep things running somewhat smoothly. If I have forgotten to acknowledge anybody else, I sincerely apologize!!

The hope of the league is that the message of God's perfect plan of salvation reached folks and that our players made some new friends, learned the value of teamwork and sportsmanship and some new basketball skills.

We know that the Fayette County Church Basketball League is well over 100 years old and thanks to all of you, it was another successful season! We pray for a great summer and fall for all of you and we hope to see you all again next season!! Be looking for messages about the 2027 season sometime in October 2026!

The Jr & Sr Championship games will be played on Fri, April 10th!!
