Trying to live right before God doesn’t exempt us from having to face troubles in this life; but it’s reassuring to know that the Lord comes to our rescue each time.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

It’s so good to feel the presence of the Lord when our hearts have been broken. He is our great comforter. It’s good to feel the Lord’s presence when we repent & show remorse for our wrongdoing. It shows His love & forgiving grace.

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

Troubles will come to both the righteous & unrighteous; but God delivers the righteous out of “all” their troubles. Hallelujah!!!

When we allow our children to do evil without warning them & teaching them the statutes of the Lord, early death may become their lot.

We must teach these words to the youth in order to have order in the home, schools & society. This wise counsel is what’s missing in the lives of too many young & not so young people today.
