Self-control - the ability to control oneself, in particular, one's emotions.

If we lose our temper, we are tempted to say or do things that can make an bad situation worse.

We can maintain our spiritual defenses by ignoring insults, frustrations, and other temptations.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus and trusting in His strength as we walk with Him will keep our heart and mind in His perfect peace.
