🙏We asked our ministries with upcoming summer trips and camps to share how our church can be praying for them over the next few months. Please join us in praying over every request listed below and that God would do incredible things in the lives of every adult, student, and child this summer!
Sports Camps:
- Pray that every camper would hear and respond to the gospel.
- Pray that coaches would lead with wisdom, kindness, and Christlike character.
- Pray that athletes would grow in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
- Pray that campers would build encouraging friendships.
- Pray for safety, joy, and lives changed through sports camp this summer.
Missions:
- Pray the Lord would prepare the hearts of those in the communities they are serving.
- Pray for travel safety in the air and on the ground.
- Pray for the health of mission partners and team members.
- Pray for teams to be bold and clear while sharing the Gospel and for many opportunities to do so.
Kids Ministry
- Pray for life transformation.
- Pray for our VBS leaders and kids' safety.
- Pray for our Kids Camp leaders and kids' safety.
- Pray that every Sunday this summer will be impactful in Kids Ministry.
- Pray that God moves in the hearts of every child at Kids Camp and VBS and that they are drawn closer to Him.
Student Ministry:
- Pray for lives to be changed.
- Pray that every student would encounter God in a real and personal way during camp — that hearts would be open, faith would grow deeper, and students would leave transformed. Pray that students would have courage to step out of their comfort zones — whether in worship, conversations, asking for prayer, or taking next steps in their faith.
- Pray for relationships and community to grow in our Student Ministries.
- Pray for meaningful friendships, unity within the group, and strong connections between students and leaders. Ask that camp would be a place where everyone feels seen, included, and encouraged.
- Pray for safe travel, good health, protection throughout the week, and wisdom for leaders as they care for students both physically and spiritually.
- Pray for our Student Ministry Staff, Adult Leaders, High School Leaders, Camp Nurse, Camp Worship Team, and Camp Speakers.
- Pray for our leaders as they serve in a variety of roles while at camp. Ask God to give them wisdom, energy, and patience as they invest in our students. Pray that they would lead well, point students to Jesus in every interaction, and be used to make an impact in their lives.
- Pray for lasting impact after camp ends.
- Pray that what God does at camp wouldn’t end when students come home. Ask that students would continue growing in their faith, stay connected to our church, and live out what they learned.
Worship Ministry
- Pray for us to finish preparations for string, percussion, and band camp.
- Pray that the students will be receptive to the gospel as we share with them.
