Wednesday Morning Bible Study is NOT MEETING this Wednesday. We’re taking a Spring Break break this week like so many others in East Texas.

We ARE resuming our study, “James: Just Tell It Like It Is,” NEXT WEDNESDAY, March 17 – regular time, regular place.

If you would like to get a head start on your March 17 assignment, here are the details.

• STUDY NAME: “Upside Down Economics”

• STUDY PASSAGE(S): James 1:9-11; 2:1-13; 5:1-6

• ADDITIONAL READING: Matthew 19:16-26

• A STUDY CLUE: Many folks seem to think that these passages teach that being “rich” is bad, and being “poor” is good. As you read the passages closely, Ken thinks you will discover that is NOT what they teach. During your “week off,” He suggests you read the passages several times (and “listen” closely). See if you can determine exactly what they do teach. Ken will be interested in hearing what you discover when we get back together on March 17.
