AFFIRMATION

SATURDAY 30TH MAY

I affirm that all authority in heaven and on earth, and beneath the earth has been given unto me because I function in the place of Jesus here on earth. Though I live in this world, I am conscious that I am not of this world. I am from above: and he that is from above is above all. I am above the corruptive influence and the negative forces of this world. I am an ambassador of the kingdom of God and a member of the body of Christ here on earth. Christ is alive in me; therefore, whatever I do or say here on earth is backed up by heaven! Even as I speak now, angels are dispatched on my behalf. Hallelujah! The name of Jesus has been given unto me to live by, and that name is working mightily for me. It is producing great results in every area of my life and in my world. The name of Jesus is named upon me and there's no devil or demons that can successfully stand against me. Life situations and circumstances are bowing down at the mention of that name Jesus. Glory to God. Hallelujah!!!

SUCCESS, VICTORY AND INCREASE

And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity] (Psalm 1:3 AMPC).

God never produces failures. When a person is united with Christ, he or she steps into a life designed only for success, victory and increase. The nature of God in you produces excellence, progress and greatness. It’s the reality of the new creation life.

I came into this understanding very early. I was born again before I was nine years old and began to preach the Gospel not long after. I started winning my friends to Christ, and shortly after I was ten, I began a fellowship. By fifteen, I was already holding crusades. I have walked this path long enough to know beyond any argument that the Word works.

When God sets you on course and your mind is stayed on Him, the Word declares that He will keep you in perfect peace because you trust in Him. That peace is the peace of prosperity, a life that continually moves forward. The Scripture also says concerning the one who’s in Christ: Whatsoever he does shall prosper.

That’s the destiny of the one who lives by the Word; we saw that in our opening scripture. The one who doesn’t follow the advice of the ungodly is blessed. Some people allow ungodly friends, relatives, or neighbours to shape their decisions; no!

The blessed man delights in the Word of God and meditates on it day and night. He gives attention to the Word, and the Word shapes his life. The result is extraordinary: He becomes like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bearing fruit in season, and his leaf doesn’t wither; that means no failure with you. What a life!

When you give yourself to the Word, it programmes you for a one-way journey in life—upward and forward only. The Word is seed, and meditating on it keeps it deeply rooted in your spirit to govern your mentality such that you think success, victory, and glory only. Your life becomes the demonstration of the Word, causing you to have good success (Joshua 1:8). Hallelujah.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the life of unending success that you’ve given me in Christ. Your Word works mightily in me, producing excellence, prosperity and victory; I heap success upon success. I think the Word, speak the Word and walk in the light of the Word every day, in Jesus Name. Amen.

I rejoice in His goodness, for the Lord has filled my mouth with laughter and songs of praise. I am strengthened because the joy of the Lord in my spirit is my strength. PRESERVED BY HIS DIVINE POWER

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Our opening scripture clearly outlines fear as a phenomenon that’s not part of your spiritual nature or make-up. So, if you ever sense fear trying to take a hold of you, refuse it. In studying the Scriptures, you’d notice that whenever the Lord appeared to anyone in Bible days, often, His first words were “Fear not” as you’d observe in Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9, and Revelation 1:17.

He commands us to refuse fear regardless of what is happening in the world. You carry the seal of God upon your life; a divine decree that separates you from everything that hurts or binds. You’re separated unto God. Remember the words of the Master: “…whosoever believeth in him should not perish…” (John 3:16).

That’s because His seal of protection is on you (Ephesians 1:13). Always declare boldly, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

You carry the glory of salvation with you. You don’t get into trouble, looking for escape; with every problem or danger, salvation is present; deliverance is sure. Before the challenge appears, you’re already ahead in victory. So, as you go about your life, ministry, and daily routine, let nothing frighten or intimidate you.

If circumstances look threatening, remember who you are: more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). The Lord Himself is your salvation. You’re preserved by His divine power, shielded by His presence, and marked for endless triumph. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ….” Hallelujah!

Therefore, live boldly and purposefully; speak with authority. Walk in the consciousness that you’re not of this world. The life in you is superior to every crisis, and the Spirit of God in you keeps you above harm. The Bible says, “…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

CONFESSION

The Lord is my refuge and my strength, my salvation, in whom I’m shielded and preserved from all evil. His life in me is superior to every crisis and keeps me permanently over and above everything that hurts or binds. I have the spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Hallelujah!

Psalm 27:1-6;
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

Isaiah 41:10-12;
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

WEDNESDAY 27TH MAY

I affirm that there are blessings (untold blessings) all around me. I receive good things into my life in the Name of Jesus! The right people are coming into my world. I’ve got the ideas, the finances, and the personnel that are consistent with the life that God has called me to live. I am in God’s place for my life which is like the well-watered garden; I am fruitful and productive always, and at all times. I walk in the supernatural, demonstrating the wisdom and character of the Holy Spirit, my sole source of power, strength, ability, and inspiration. I am one with the Father; He’s made me a wonder to my world! The Word of God in my mouth is God talking! As I meditate and speak forth the Word with boldness, my life is impacted and transformed into what the Word says, making me a living and walking epistle of Christ. Men see and take note of me that Christ is in me; as He is, so am I in this world. I have a supernatural heritage in Christ, I’ve taken a hold of eternal life. Therefore, it doesn’t matter the trials, pains, and difficulties in the world, I am unperturbed because I live in, and by, the Word of God. My life is the revelation of the graces and realities of the Word! I live triumphantly over sickness, disease, Satan, and the systems of this world. Glory to God. Hallelujah!

AFFIRM GOD’S WORD OVER THE NATIONS

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

Today, there’re systems and voices in the world that present themselves as guides to the nations, yet their ideas have brought confusion, hardship and economic destruction to many countries. These are organizations that claimed to offer solutions but instead misled leaders, crippled economies, and plunged nations into unnecessary debts.

Many governments, in times of global crisis, followed these voices without discernment, and the results were devastating. The Scripture already warned us about such influences: “They are of the world, therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them" (1 John 4:5).

But thanks be unto God! We’re not helpless spectators in the earth. As the Church of Jesus Christ, we have authority; we rule and we change things. Through prayer and the exercise of our faith, we’re able to dismantle the agenda of darkness. No organisation, ideology, or structure can control the nations as long as we take our place and stand against them in faith.

Our responsibility is to stand in the Spirit and affirm God’s Word over the nations and their leaders. Declare His peace and prosperity over the nations. He told us to do it: Luke 10:5-6, “And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.”

We have amazing authority in His name to bless the nations: “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted…” (Proverbs 11:11). Through our words of blessing, the cities and nations of the world are exalted. They’re lifted from the thraldom of deception, economic woes and debt into the destinies that God ordained for them.

Through our faith and intercession, the will of God prevails in the earth. Therefore, keep praying for the nations and their leaders. As you do, the forces of darkness and their agendas will be subdued, and righteousness will be established in the nations. Declare that the leaders are not deceived and that divine wisdom guides them to lead their nations out of illegal and oppressive debts, and ungodly control. Hallelujah.

CONFESSION

The nations are delivered from deception, and their leaders receive divine wisdom to promote and establish the righteousness of God in their lands. The agenda of the enemy for the nations of the world is frustrated and by the authority of the Name of the Lord Jesus, the triumph of Christ is enforced in every nation. Amen.

I affirm that the Lord has made my life beautiful, glorious, and exciting! I am an able minister of the Gospel, and I am filled with all the fullness of God. I have the Word of God dwelling in me richly, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I’ve got divine health working in every fibre of my being, every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body! I am not ordinary; Christ is my wisdom, therefore, I am wise, and I have the wisdom to do whatever I need to do. I’m the seed of Abraham; I’m imbued with divine wisdom to affect lives positively all over the world. My mind is anointed to bring forth innovations, ideas, inventions, and solutions to bless the world. Fear has no place in me, for God hasn’t given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and a sound mind. I’m supernaturally enabled to implement God-given ideas to make the world a better place. I function today at my best potential because the wisdom of God works in me, talking through me, leading me, guiding me, and causing me to be effective and productive in everything I lay my hands to do. I refuse to be a victim; with the Word of God in my mouth, I reign over the elements of this world, subdue kingdoms, produce righteousness and live the glory-life in Christ Jesus, through faith. My mouth is filled today with laughter and my tongue with the songs of triumph. In the face of any seemingly impossible situation, I laugh my way through life, from victory to victory and from glory to glory! All things are working together for my good, and I am soaring high on the wings of the Spirit. Blessed be God. Hallelujah!

YOU’RE A SUCCESS

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).

An orange seed may look small and unimpressive, but inside it is the capacity to produce an orange tree that’ll in turn produce multiplied fruits with several seeds in them. Everything the orange tree will ever be is already contained in that seed. The seed doesn’t need to “become” an orange; it’s already one. It only needs the right environment for what’s already inside it to manifest.

If that orange seed had a mouth and said, “I’m an orange,” someone might reply, “You don’t look like an orange; stop bragging.” But the seed isn’t lying or bragging; it carries the orange nature; put it in the right environment and see.

That was how I saw myself when I was still a teenager. I found out I was a success forever because the life of God, His seed, was in me, and I started declaring it and went ahead to start holding “Success in Life Seminars.” I would say, “I’m a success,” and some people wondered, “What’s he talking about?” But I knew.

I wasn’t saying it because I had already done everything I wanted to do. I was saying it because I understood what was inside me. That’s the life Christ has given us; you’re a success going somewhere to happen. Those who don’t know you may say you’re not but that’s because they don’t know your real identity. They don’t understand the work of God in your life.

You’re God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for endless victories, glory and excellence (Ephesians 2:10). His Word says concerning you that whatsoever you do prospers (Psalm 1:3). Stay in the Word and live true to your identity, and what God has put inside you will manifest in every place.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the truth of your Word that reveals my identity. I live with the consciousness of victory and success, and I manifest the realities of Christ in my life. My faith prevails, and my results are a reflection of your glory and righteousness in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FRIDAY 22ND MAY

THE CHURCH IS BUILT ON CHRIST

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, THAT THOU ART PETER, AND UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH…” (Matthew 16:16-18)

Over the years, many have grossly misunderstood the underlined portion of the scripture above. Some have assumed the “rock” was the revelation Peter gave when he said Jesus was the Christ. Others have even assumed the “rock” was Peter himself. But neither of these is true.

The Lord Jesus was speaking about a Person when He said, “Upon this rock”; He was referring to Himself—Christ! In Greek, the distinction becomes even clearer. The Lord Jesus called Peter “Petrus,” meaning a stone, but He referred to the foundation as “Petra,” meaning a rock, a founding stone.

The Lord is that rock. He wasn’t saying, “Upon this ‘Petrus’ I will build my Church” but “Upon this ‘Petra,’” which is Christ the Rock, a foundation, a sure cornerstone: “...Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation...” (Isaiah 28:16). Christ had already been known in prophetic writings as the Rock.

So, when Peter said, “Thou art the Christ,” he was declaring that the Lord Jesus was the promised foundation. He was the one spoken of as the sure cornerstone. And the Master responded by revealing the prophetic reality: the Church would be built upon Christ, the Rock, and nothing from hell could prevail against it.

This connects with the prophetic vision in Daniel. Daniel spoke of the stone cut out without hands that struck the image at its feet of iron and clay, and the whole structure collapsed (Daniel 2:34-35). That stone became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

The interpretation was clear: “Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth” (Daniel 2:35). That's the mountain of the Lord's house.

The stone is Christ, and that mountain is His everlasting dominion. The Church is built on Christ, and because the Church stands firm on Him, the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. This is the certainty of our faith. Christ is our Rock; we’re established on Him forever.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word and the certainty of the truth revealed in Christ. My faith is established on Christ, the Rock, and the Gospel prevails in every nation, and the righteousness of Christ is established in the hearts of men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [5] Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. [6] Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

AFFIRMATION

WEDNESDAY 20TH MAY

I affirm that the Lord has made my life pleasant, and my future bright. There’re no uncertainties and confusion in my path because Christ is my light, my wisdom, and my strength. I’m walking in, and fulfilling God’s perfect will for my life, established in the path of greatness and excellence forever. I am a custodian of divine truth! My life is full of beauty; for I’ve received the Spirit without measure. I’ve been commissioned by the Lord, and I have all it takes to fulfill my assignment here on earth. Fear has no place in me because the Father has not given unto me the spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind. My mind is sound, and I am bold to act my faith. My spirit is refreshed in God’s presence, and His joy fills my soul, knowing that He has perfected all that concerns me. My path is that of the righteous that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. I function with the ability of the Spirit today for the Spirit of God is at work in me, causing me to have divine courage and confidence. I am a king-priest; I am anointed by the Spirit of God to carry out my assignment with great joy. My words are not ordinary; they are spirit and they are life. I am fully aware that the quality of life that I live is based on the faith-filled words that I utter. Therefore, I hold fast to the profession of faith without wavering, and I affirm today that my life, health, family, and finances are consistent with God’s Word for my life. Hallelujah. I am favoured everywhere I go, for the favour of the Lord surrounds me like a shield. It opens doors for me, bringing me into my place of greatness. God’s favour has placed me in a position of advantage, and nothing is too good for me! Glory to God. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

PASTOR CHRIS

WEDNESDAY 20TH MAY

CUT OFF SATANIC INFLUENCES

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus (Acts 13:6).

Acts 13 gives us a clear picture of how Satan tries to resist the Gospel, especially when it’s about to reach those in positions of leadership. An example is seen in Acts 13:6 when Saul (Paul) and Barnabas went through the Isle of Paphos, preaching the Gospel. The proconsul, Sergius Paulus, whom the Bible describes as “a prudent man,” desired to hear the Word of God and sent for Barnabas and Saul (Acts 13:7). He wanted to know more about Jesus Christ.

But there was someone closely associated with him who wouldn’t let that happen; Acts 13:6-8 the Amplified Classic version reveals it: “When they had passed through the entire island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish wizard or sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. He was closely associated with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent and sensible man of sound understanding; he summoned to him Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God [concerning salvation in the kingdom of God attained through Christ]. But Elymas the wise man--for that is the translation of his name [which he had given himself]--opposed them, seeking to keep the proconsul from accepting the faith.” He resisted and tried to stop the leader from receiving the Word.

Then the Bible says, “…Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, and said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord” (Acts 13:9-10)? Paul wasn’t speaking by suspicion or emotion; he spoke by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He called him who he truly was: a child of the devil, an enemy of all righteousness.

Many world leaders have such people around them who distract them from the truth and keep them from hearing the Word of God. This is why we take our stand in prayer to cut off such influences from the leaders of nations. Every so often, in praying for the leaders of nations, governments and institutions of this world, declare that the counsels of the “Elymases” of this world are frustrated and silenced; cut off their influence from the leaders. Pray that all around the world, the hearts of presidents, kings, governors, lawmakers, and decision-makers are open to hear and receive the Word of God and the Gospel is producing results in their lives.

Pray also that the Spirit grants them discernment to recognise deception, and that righteous influences surround them, creating access for the Gospel to be preached, received freely, and spread rapidly all around the world. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The Word of God prevails in the hearts of leaders and decision makers across the nations today. Every satanic influence to resist the Gospel and turn them away from the truth is cut off by the power of the Holy Spirit. God’s wisdom and righteousness dominate the nations, and His truth is established without resistance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Acts 13:6-12 NIV
They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, [7] who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. [8] But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. [9] Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, [10] “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? [11] Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. [12] When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.
