What a wonderful Sunday we had yesterday! Between our two campuses at Houghton and Vail, we baptized one, received a new affiliate member, gave four rising 3rd or 4th graders their Bibles, celebrated one new Certified Lay Speaker and one new Certified Lay Minister, heard a youth edition praise band song, the bell choir, and the adult choir. Thanks be to God!

Drop-in prayer and reflection stations at Arizona Senior Academy on Good Friday (4/3) from 9-10am. Each station will feature a short scripture reading from a moment in Christ's Passion, as well as something interactive and a prompt for personal prayer. The stations should take about 20 minutes to complete.

Good Friday hike and reflection: meet at the end of Broadway entrance to Saguaro National Park at 4pm.

Debbie is working in the kitchen at our Houghton campus, and the soups for tomorrow evening’s Maundy Thursday service smell wonderful! Join us for a soup supper in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30pm, followed by a Maundy Thursday service in the sanctuary at 6:30. This family-friendly service will remember the Last Supper Jesus had with his friends, and foreshadow the events that will unfold the following day. An extended communion liturgy will include participatory moments throughout, and then we will receive the bread and cup together.

Join us for Holy Week and Easter, in person or on YouTube. This coming Sunday, March 29 is Palm/Passion Sunday—bring a palm or other branch for the procession! Family friendly Maundy Thursday service at 6:30pm at the Houghton campus on April 2. Good Friday interactive reflection stations at Arizona Senior Academy, drop in 9-10am; Good Friday hike at 4pm, meet at the east entrance of Saguaro National Park.
