After the postlude, a healing prayer is offered at the altar for those who choose to remain. Child Care is available during both services. A Saturday evening service is at 6 p.m. Please check the website or call the office at 297-2551 to confirm times. Rarely, but sometimes there are special circumstances that require changes. At Christ the King, our Sunday School classes help children understand

the content and meaning of our faith. New students are welcome to join us at any time. Children ages 11 and under meet with Steve Merritt and Kathy Hatter at 10:15 in the new Sunday School room on the lower level and adjourn in time for the students to join their families in the church during communion. A class for students ages 12-14, led by Laura Sabel and Edina Hall-Merritt, begins at 9:30 and ends at 10:15, so students can join their parents for the 10:30 service. Our Nursery is open for all services. A mid-week Prayer Eucharist is held at 9:00 on Wednesday mornings, immediately before the Bible study session, and a Taize service is scheduled for the fourth Saturday of the month at 6:30 p.m..
