Wow, what an awesome day! Thank you to all who came and participated in our 1st community kids carnival! We were just short of 100 children, parents, and grandparents. We sent 10 young people home with new bikes, and 2 with electric scooters. Children received many prizes and candy! Many adults went away with prizes as well!! It took a Village to pull this day off. A host of dedicated church attenders. A crew from Scouts Troop 27 at Long Lake Friends Church. Friends and family. To all that donated the bikes, and prizes! We are so thankful! We had donations from many church members, Walmart Traverse City, Long Lake Grocery, Moomers Homemade Ice Cream,The Bread Lady- Lake Ann, Michigan, and the The Original Flap Jack Shack. We were blessed by a couple area churches. Mt. Zion sharing their carnival games and a bounce house with us and Fresh Wind Christian Community for sharing their bounce house. We are so appreciative of all who played a part in this special community event!! Also thank you to Matt Moore for coming to share his music with us! He is so talented! And most importantly thank you Lord for holding back the rain! You are faithful! Blessings to all!! PK
