Founded by the late Apostle Alonzo Wade on December 11, 2002, as Philadelphia Christian Center Ministries in Modesto, CA, the church later became known as Philadelphia Worship Center in 2003. Convinced that God gave Apostle Wade and Pastor Michelle an apostolic mandate to teach, train, and send believers outside of the church walls, in May 2011 the ministerial focus shifted to that of a ministry t
raining center and adopted the dba of Philadelphia Ministries & Training Center (PMTC). PMTC’s mission was to train believers to minister to the ‘total man’ – the body, soul, and spirit of man. In 2016 Pastors Alonzo & Michelle temporarily closed the church in Modesto with plans to relocate to the Phoenix metro area of Arizona. While making preparation for the move, Pastor Wade unexpectedly transitioned to glory. After a time of grieving and healing from the loss, Pastor Michelle began seeking the Lord for guidance concerning the church ministries and taking steps of faith according to His leading. Working closely with a non-profit compliance consultant from Fall 2021 – Fall 2022, plans and provisions to continue the ministry as a 501c3 non-church religious organization were well underway. On August 29, 2022, the California Franchise Tax Board and California Secretary of State recognized this organization as Kingdom Overcomers, a 501c3 non-church religious organization based in Tracy, CA. The IRS acknowledged this change as of February 6, 2023.

KINGDOM OVERCOMERS is a para-church ministry organized exclusively for religious purposes. The mission of the Corporation is: to equip and strengthen Believers to be diligent in the work of the Lord. The vision of the Corporation is: to be a nation/community of Believers wherein every person worships God through fulfilling the work He has called him or her to do, and doing so as if we are collectively building the eternal house of our God - the everlasting Kingdom - according to Revelation 3:7-13. Our biblical basis is found in the following passages:
Revelation 3:7-13
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: "...Hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The one who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God..." Revelation 21:7
He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be My son. Matthew 28:19-20 - Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Acts 20:24 (CJB) - But I consider my own life of no importance to me whatsoever, as long as I can finish the course ahead of me, the task I received from the Lord Yeshua — to declare in depth the Good News of God’s love and kindness.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
