🍎 BACK-TO-SCHOOL PRAYER 📚
As a new school year begins, let’s join together in lifting up our students, parents, and teachers in prayer:
For our Students: Lord, give them eager minds, kind hearts, and the courage to face new challenges. Protect them in the hallways, bless them with good friends, and help them grow in wisdom and confidence every day.
For our Parents: Father, grant them peace of mind and calm any anxieties as they send their children out the door. Give them extra patience, strength for busy schedules, and wisdom to lead their homes with love.
For our Teachers & Staff: Lord, fill them with fresh energy, creativity, and joy for their calling. Grant them endless patience, wisdom to reach every student, and the reminders of how deeply they are appreciated. Cover our schools with Your protection, bring unity to our classrooms, and let this be a year of incredible growth and kindness. Amen!

Easter Sunday Pastor Kevin delivered a sermon focused on the resurrection narrative from John 20, emphasizing how Easter transforms our perspective on life’s challenges. He explained that while the crucifixion appeared to be a defeat, it was actually a strategic move by God to ultimately conquer evil and death. Using a chess analogy between Bobby Fisher and Donald Byrne, Kevin illustrated how Jesus’ resurrection was God’s “checkmate” move, with the full manifestation of victory still pending.
