Our mission: to encourage and facilitate educational and enrichment opportunities for local christian homeschool families!

We are not drop-off but work cooperatively to create unique class options based on the skills and passions of the families enrolled Our co-op meets at West Haven Baptist Church in Tonganoxie, KS, which is 15 minutes from KCK and 20 minutes from Lawrence! Shema Homeschool Co-op meets on Tuesdays, for 7 week quarters starting again August 23rd, 2022. Our students rotate through 3 classes that mornin

g for enrichment, friendship, learning and fun! This semester we are offering an opportunity to join us for lunch and participate in an optional class after lunch as well. We have classes for little babies, all of the way up to high school. Our high school courses seek to help you attain credits towards your student's transcripts. The cost is $50 a semester, per family.

We have a few fun park dates lined up in May that we invite you to join us at!
Are you looking for a community for your kids to connect and grow with? Just starting to look into homeschooling? Come and hang out, ask us all of your questions, and meet some other local homeschoolers!
Our first event of the summer is TODAY! Meet us at the Basehor Civic Campus Park Splash Pad. Teens will probably play soccer and the littles have a place to cool down and play.

Looking for opportunities for your High Schooler to earn Credits for their transcript?

Shema Homeschool Co-op offers all of that and MORE!

We invite you to join us for a snippet of what a typical day looks like at our Preview Day on March 10 from 9:00AM – 11:00 AM!

This is a wonderful opportunity for interested families to:
- Experience what a normal co-op day looks like
- Meet our teachers and families
- See our Christ-centered learning environment in action
- Ask questions and learn more about enrollment

Our co-op meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and families have the flexibility to enroll for one day or both days.

Are you looking for a change for 2026 in your schooling routine? Pray and consider joining our precious homeschool community!

📚✨ Enrollment is Open until Saturday, Jan 3rd! ✨📚

We are excited to welcome NEW families to Shema Homeschool Co-op, a Christian homeschool community rooted in faith, learning, and fellowship.

We have classes for all grades, K-12th and even learning opportunities for younger siblings to come along too!
📣 Some grades are already filling up, so we encourage families to enroll soon!

🗓 Schedule Details:
• Tuesdays: January 13 – May 5
• Thursdays: January 15 – April 30
• We meet for 14 weeks
• Families may attend Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 9am - noon.
**Additional Field-trips, Park days, Hang outs, Mom coffee dates and other events are also planned multiple times a month to build true and meaningful friendships between kids and their families!

🍂🦃 Happy Thanksgiving, Homeschool Family! 🦃🍂

Shema Homeschool Co-op will be taking a break this week as we pause to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. We pray this time is filled with rest, joy, and meaningful moments together.

As we gather around our tables, we give thanks to God for His goodness, His provision, and the blessing of this wonderful community. We are grateful for each of you—your dedication, your encouragement, and the light you bring to our group.

May your homes be filled with gratitude, peace, and the love of Christ this season and always!
