Join your friends in the parking lot (or the gym if inclement weather) for the Rainforest Falls Reunion Wednesday August 26 from 5:30-7:30 pm. We’ll have free hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn & sno cones. At 6:30, we’ll gather to sing VBS songs & re-visit our Bible points & worship God in His creation! Bring a lawn chair or blanket. The playground will be open after worship.

We are looking back at the fun we had at 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺 last week!

⭐️Yesterday we dropped off our donations from our Operation Kid-to-Kid service project! For the past two years, we’ve supported our friends at the Sheridan Parkside Life Center by helping stock their food pantry and clothing closet.

🌟 This year we helped stock their laundromat by collecting:

🫧 laundry detergent
✨ dryer sheets
🫧fabric softener
✨ stain removal products

⭐️ Donations were collected in the lobby throughout the entire week of 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺. Many thanks to those who participated!

❤️ Our main Bible point this year was God is Love. As we know about God’s love for us, we also look for ways to show love to others, and this is one simple way we can care for our neighbors.

We are looking back at the fun we had at 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺 last week!

⭐️Today we are taking a look at our Operation Kid-to-Kid service project! Each year during Vacation Bible School, we take time to serve our community in a simple, hands-on way, and this year was no different.

🌟 Operation Kid-to-Kid is one of the world’s largest service mission projects for children. Year after year, Operation Kid-to-Kid is one of the driving forces in mobilizing children to serve other kids in need.

⭐️ For the past two years, we’ve supported our friends at the Sheridan Parkside Life Center by helping stock their food pantry and clothing closet.
They also serve the community through computer and cooking classes and even offer a free laundromat for neighbors in need.

This year, we helped keep that laundromat running by collecting:

🫧 laundry detergent
✨ dryer sheets
🫧fabric softener
✨ stain removal products

🌟 Donations were collected in the lobby throughout the entire week of 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺. Many thanks to those who participated, and to Beth for setting up our drop area!

It was a fantastic week at 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺!

In the days leading up to 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺, we shared old VBS memories and Bible Buddies from each year. Today is no different, and since it's Saturday, today is our last set of Bible Buddies - from 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺!

And since our clues for our scavenger hunt were given on Saturdays, it is time to reveal what you were looking for!

As so many of you guessed, it was our very own 👟Games👟 Station Leader, Josh! Josh has been coming to VBS since he was a kid, making him the perfect person to hide throughout our daily posts. Go ahead and check; he is in every single one of our countdown posts (except for our Saturday ones!). Thank you Josh for being included in our posts!

Today was a fantastical final Friday at 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺!

💥 We had a blast at 🏝️Sing and Play Lagoon🏝️, where we saw Dr. Flit Flutterby 🦋 learned that God's love is forever! We danced with our Song Leaders and Miss Sue, and met our final Bible Buddy, Howie the Howler Monkey 🦍!

🌴 We then headed to our stations: 📖Bible Adventures📖,🫟Sticky Scripture🫟, 👟Games👟, 💭Imagination Station💭, and 🍿Snack🍿 to continue our 🌺Rainforest Falls🌺 adventure before heading back to the sanctuary for 🪾Canopy Closing🪾!

⛪️ Today's Bible Point was ✨God is forever. Wow God! ✨

📖 Our verse was Psalm 115:18 "But we can praise the Lord both now and forever! Praise the Lord!" We learned that God's love is forever!

Thank you so much for everyone who made this week possible, from our VBS Director Mrs Tracy, Miss Sue, our Crew Leader Coaches, our Station Leaders, our Crew Leaders, our Snack and Tech teams, and everyone else who worked hard before, during, and after this week! We couldn't do it without you and appreciate your time, care, and dedication to our program.

Today was a great Thursday at 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺!

💥 We had a blast at 🏝️Sing and Play Lagoon🏝️, where we saw Dr. Flit Flutterby 🦋 dressed as a bee 🐝! Or maybe he was trying to blend in as a butterfly 🦋? We danced with our Song Leaders and Miss Sue, and met our fourth Bible Buddy, Tia the Giant Anteater 🐜 (There's no anteater emoji, so an ant will have to do)!

🌴 We then headed to our stations: 📖Bible Adventures📖,🫟Sticky Scripture🫟, 👟Games👟, 💭Imagination Station💭, and 🍿Snack🍿 to continue our 🌺Rainforest Falls🌺 adventure before heading back to the sanctuary for 🪾Canopy Closing🪾!

⛪️ Today's Bible Point was ✨God is love. Wow God! ✨

📖 Our verse was Psalm 136:1 "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever." We learned that God's love is forever!

👀 Be sure to Watch for God and come ready tomorrow morning with God Sightings! Participants (Elementary AND Preschool) can enter the sanctuary at 8:45 am and will need an adult with their barcode to check them in for attendance.

🫧 All week, you can bring in supplies for our Operation Kid-to-Kid. This year we are taking laundry supplies to help our friends at the Sheridan Parkside Life Center!

Today was a WONDERFUL Wednesday at 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺!

💥 We had a blast at 🏝️Sing and Play Lagoon🏝️, where we saw Dr. Flit Flutterby 🦋 all caught up in a net! We danced with our Song Leaders and Miss Sue, and met our third Bible Buddy, Dottie the Ocelot 🐈!

🌴 We then headed to our stations: 📖Bible Adventures📖,🫟Sticky Scripture🫟, 👟Games👟, 💭Imagination Station💭, and 🍿Snack🍿 to continue our 🌺Rainforest Falls🌺 adventure before heading back to the sanctuary for 🪾Canopy Closing🪾!

⛪️ Today's Bible Point was ✨God is our safe place. Wow God! ✨

📖 Our verse was Psalm 142:5 "Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, 'You are my place of refuge." We learned that God is our safe place and we can turn to Him for anything!

Today was an AWESOME second day of 🌺Rainforest Falls VBS🌺!

💥 We had a blast at 🏝️Sing and Play Lagoon🏝️, where we saw Dr. Flit Flutterby 🦋 trying to catch the large butterfly with a cheeseburger 🍔! We danced with our Song Leaders and Miss Sue, and met our second Bible Buddy, Seymour the Glass Frog 🐸!

🌴 We then headed to our stations: 📖Bible Adventures📖,🫟Sticky Scripture🫟, 👟Games👟, 💭Imagination Station💭, and 🍿Snack🍿 to continue our 🌺Rainforest Falls🌺 adventure before heading back to the sanctuary for 🪾Canopy Closing🪾!

⛪️ Today's Bible Point was ✨God knows everything. Wow God! ✨

📖 Our verse was Psalm 139:1, "O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me." We learned that God knows everything about us, even things that haven't happened yet!
