2026-06-07 NDQ 2026 (Round 5)

We had a LOT of questions come in during the past couple of weeks, including one that Pastor Barry wanted to answer right away. Because of that, we're going to do another round of "No Dumb Questions".

If you've never been here before, Pastor Barry doesn't believe that you can ask a "dumb" question about God, Jesus, the Bible, church, etc. If you want to know, ask! In fact, according to him, the only "dumb" question is the one you wanted to ask...and didn't.

2026-05-24 Staying In Tune

In this series - originally presented to a Couple's Retreat Weekend at Crescent Lake Bible Camp - we've covered a LOT of ground! We've talked about what our "song" is, ways to lose our song, ways to end someone else's song, and last week we began to talk about how we as families and a church can start getting in tune.

This week, we're going to wrap up our series on "Staying In Tune" by actually talking about how we are to stay in tune. We're going to look at one last song, see what God has to tell us, and then we - all of us - get to choose where we fix our eyes!

26-05-24 Getting In Tune

We're in the middle of a series called "Staying In Tune". We've talked about such encouraging topics as "Stealing Their Song" and "Silencing Their Song", as well as a short detour to Romans 1 to show all of the chaos that can happen when we take our eyes off of God.

This week, we're on the mend. We're going to see what life can look like when we lift our song to God and encourage others to do the same!

2026-05-17 Silencing Their Song

We're in the middle of a series called "Staying In Tune". In the first week, we defined our song as: "When we can focus our head and our heart on God and praise Him for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do in the future!" Last week, we talked about "Stealing Their Song", and how taking our eyes off of God can prevent us - and those around us - from singing praise to God.

But what happens when we go one step further? What happens when our actions and our attitudes silences the songs of others?

2026-05-10 Stealing Their Song

Last week, we began a series called "Staying In Tune". We spent our time talking about "Finding Our Song"; and we said that our song is, "When we can focus our head and our heart on God and praise Him for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do in the future!"

But what happens to our song when we ignore our relationships with God and others? Or, worse yet, we actively do things that hurt our relationships? Well, this week we'll take a look at another song that describes when everything goes...wrong; and how it affects not only us, but everyone around us!

2026-05-03 Finding Your Song

Pastor Barry is revisiting "the past" by going back to a series he once did for Couple's Retreat at Crescent Lake Bible Camp. Back then, he - someone who describes himself as "musically non-gifted" - was challenged to do a series called "Staying In Tune".

Although it's updated to apply to everyone, the message is still the same: we need to find our song, sing it, and share it. But what is that song? What does it sound like? And more importantly, what can steal our song?
