There's a new scam going around out there. It's an email from [email protected] asking people to send me $1,000 in gift cards! It's even "signed" with my information.

THIS IS A SCAM!

This is NOT the church email address, and I would NEVER ask you to send me money, gift cards, etc. (I actually feel embarrassed that someone is asking in my name!)

Please do not fall for it. Please do NOT send them pictures. Please ignore it if you get it. It's not from the church, it's not from me, and it's not real!

Sorry to have to post this everywhere, but I wanted to get this out as fast as possible!

Good morning! Today, we're going to take a short detour and deal with something that affects most - if not all - of us: mental health. Many of us know what it's like to struggle with mental health issues; or we know someone who is struggling.

As we jump in, we're going to use an example of healing from the Bible to see what we need to do to move from coping and surviving to hoping and thriving. We'll also discuss some real, simple, practical steps to move from where we're at to where God wants us to be.

For our first lesson, we're going to see which is more important: faith or deeds? As a Christian, can we have one without the other? If so, what does that look like? So join us as we dig into the book of James on our first stop in seeing what it means to serve!
