What are you still waiting for God to prove?

The scribes and Pharisees demanded another sign from Jesus—but their problem was not a lack of evidence. Their problem was a heart unwilling to believe.

God has already given us the greatest sign: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This week, don’t make faith conditional upon God meeting your demands. Set aside the excuses, look again to Christ, and respond with repentance, trust, and obedience.
The sign is sufficient. Jesus is enough.

In Sunday’s sermon, Exposing the Heart (Matthew 12:33–37), Scripture reminded us that our words are rarely accidental. Just as a tree is known by its fruit, our speech—our quiet comments, quick reactions, and casual conversations—reveals what’s truly stored in our hearts.

Our words don't just express our thoughts; they expose our spiritual condition. A heart filled with grace, love, and truth naturally overflows into speech that heals and builds up.

As you step into this week, ask yourself:

What is your heart’s posture toward God this week?

Matthew 12:31–32 reminds us that the unpardonable sin is not a single moment of failure—it is a settled, persistent rejection of the Spirit’s work and a refusal to repent.

So here’s the question for this week:
Are you responding to God’s truth with humility and repentance—or with pride and resistance?

The good news of Scripture is that God is a forgiving God. Every sin and every blasphemy can be forgiven when we confess and repent. The warning of Jesus is meant to move us toward repentance—not despair.

Don’t harden your heart.

Respond to God’s truth while there is opportunity.

In Matthew 12:22–30, Jesus makes a sobering truth clear: there is no neutral ground in the spiritual battle. Every decision, every priority, and every affection reveals where our allegiance truly lies.

Will your words, actions, and heart point to the Kingdom of Christ this week?
