John 13.19
“I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am HE. I tell you the truth, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts ME; and whoever accepts ME accepts the ONE WHO sent ME.”
Good morning DAD. I sense there is a lot more here than I realize. What do YOU want me to learn?
Yes. This says much. The first sentence tells you that JESUS knew ahead of time about what was going to happen to HIM. This is an ability only GOD or someone sent by GOD has. When this happens, the apostles will have proof that JESUS is WHO HE says HE is.
The second sentence talks about all who will follow HIM.
For all time?
Yes.
In this JESUS points to ME, GOD THE CREATOR, THE ONE AND ONLY, THE GREAT I AM. And that I sent JESUS into the world to say MY WORDS and to do MY WILL.
DAD, does this include authority?
Yes! I say this strongly to dispel any doubt. When you accept CHRIST’S message you accept HIM and all that HE said and did. A whole new world opens to the person who believes. That world has a HELPER WHO I seal each new believer with WHO has all that the new believer needs to follow in CHRIST’S steps.
Here is another help to determine whether something said or taught is MY TRUTH: do I, GOD, get the glory?
A thought came to mind: a person’s life is changed so that she or he begins to be like JESUS was while HE was on earth? I don’t know if that was my thought or YOURS.
Regardless, it is true. This is not just about words, but about transformation. About new life! Many teach that I just add on something new when I recreate the believer in MY IMAGE. They miss the whole point of the new life that now awaits them to partake of. Most Jews didn’t want to get JESUS’S message because HE wasn’t who they wanted. They wanted a conquering king who would put them as rulers of this world. They wanted power for themselves. They didn’t want to change.
So it is with most people today. They see discipleship as being an add-on to their already busy lives. They don’t want to change. The evil ones claim another victory in the deceit of defining change as difficult and undesirable. This is perpetuated by people saying it over and over as an excuse not to do something new.
Is there something more?
As you meditate with ME upon MY WORD, your mind is being transformed. Is this painful?
No. Often it is exhilarating!
That is what transformation is supposed to be. You see the end result and desire it. Many see the cost and don’t want to go through the effort or pay the cost to get the result. They are comfortable where they are.
But there is so much more…
They believe the deception that it is all right to stay where they are.
But they suffer needlessly.
They choose to believe the lies.
How can I help?
Live in MY FULLNESS. That will get some attention.
What about if I fail?
So? Get up and try again. You are not perfect…
That is true.
Do not degrade yourself or believe the enemies lies! The fact that you are out there before you have it all together by other’s standards is a mark of your love for others - not wanting them to suffer needlessly. You are doing as I ask - being open and honest about Our talks. I ask for nothing more.
For some my walk is a deterrent because they don’t want to go through what I go through.
For some people any excuse is enough to sit on their lazy ass and criticize others. And they don’t take responsibility that they are the cause of some of your stumbling.

If you had lived in a different place and met different people, you would be in a different place. Yes. But! You didn’t. You stayed because I asked you to stay. They hurt you with their words. That drove you to ME. Over and over and over. You became dependent upon ME. You leaned into ME. As a result you and I have a relationship that cannot be broken. I thank you for trusting ME.
YOU are GOD.
