The Church dedicates the month of September to Our Lady of Sorrows. It's a time to reflect on the grief Mary experienced in life, particularly surrounding the suffering of her Son, Jesus.
This devotion with deep historical roots calls us to be mindful of the importance of repentance and support each other in difficult times. Here are some good ways to do that this month!

The third step in the journey of discipleship is Spiritually Open 👀
People in this stage are receptive to a relationship with God, but aren't yet taking action to pursue that relationship. A lot of people in this stage need some kind of invitation to start growing in faith, so here is some encouragement for those in this stage and how people around them can help!

Schools are getting back in session, and so are our Faith Formation programs! Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)'s introductory class is tomorrow at 6pm at St. Theresa's, with classes continuing after the Labor Day holiday weekend on Sundays immediately following 11am Mass. Meanwhile, Youth Faith Formation registration forms must be returned to the rectory or in the collection basket by September 7th, as classes will be starting September 20th.
