☀️ A Little Relief from the Heat

Starting tomorrow morning, we will have cold bottled water available outside the front entrance of the Titusville Civic Center for anyone who may need it during these extremely hot days.

If you stop by, please take only what you need today so that others can also be blessed by this resource. One or two bottles per person is appreciated.

🥵 Florida summer has arrived.

When the temperature is in the 90s but the “feels like” is pushing 105°-112°, most of us can step into air conditioning, grab a cold drink, and cool off.

Many of our neighbors don’t have that option.

LifePointe Ministries is currently in need of the following items to help care for those we serve through our outreach programs:

Yesterday, our community lost a faithful friend. Brother Earl Hewell.

Whether you sat with him at our Wednesday Morning Fellowship, served alongside him at CREW 29, or simply spent a few minutes in conversation, it wouldn’t take long before the discussion turned toward Scripture, faith, the goodness of God, or the soon return of Christ. Earl loved Jesus deeply, and he wasn’t shy about it.

He was a faithful member of Crossroads Community Church under the leadership of Pastor JC Weeks , and he was a beloved part of the broader faith community here in Titusville. He was a member there for over 26 years.

Following a vehicle accident, Earl’s body succumbed to his injuries. While our hearts are heavy, we do not grieve without hope. Earl lived with an unwavering faith and an eager expectation of seeing Jesus face to face. Today, the faith he talked about has become sight.

As I reflect on Earl’s life, one thought keeps coming to mind:

❤️ Thank You, First United Methodist Church of Titusville!

We are incredibly grateful to First United Methodist Church Titusville Florida for their generous donation of $1,000 to support LifePointe Ministries and our shelter program.

This gift is especially meaningful because it comes from a church that has consistently partnered with us in serving our community. From loaning their bus for our Table of Grace holiday meals to helping transport guests to our off-site inclement weather shelter this past winter, they have continually demonstrated a heart for helping others.

We are thankful for churches that work together to meet needs, serve our neighbors, and share God’s love in practical ways.

🚿 THE SHOWER

Imagine living outside.

The heat is relentless. The humidity clings to your skin. Days have turned into weeks since your last shower.

You walk into CREW 29 at LifePointe - Titusville unsure of what to expect.

A volunteer greets you with a smile. Someone hands you a towel, soap, shampoo, and clean socks. A few minutes later, you're standing under running water.

For most of us, a shower is routine.

For someone living unsheltered, it can mean dignity, confidence, comfort, and a fresh start.

Every shower requires volunteers willing to work in the heat, set up equipment, provide supplies, and simply care.

Sometimes love looks like a warm meal.

Sometimes love looks like a prayer.

And sometimes love looks like a hot shower.

Every piece and every part of this outreach is run by volunteers.

There is a place for you here.

If you are willing to serve even a couple hours a month – it could make a BIG difference. An impact. A Kingdom impact.

🫶 What a blessing!

A huge thank you to Trinity Lutheran Church for choosing LifePointe Ministries as the beneficiary of their February “Noisy Offering” collection.

Their congregation collected spare change throughout the month and recently presented us with a donation to help support the work we do in our community.

We are thankful for the partnership, generosity, and encouragement of fellow churches who share our heart for serving others.

A special thank you to Mike Erdman Toyota and SHEMA Ministry for believing in the mission and vision of what God is doing through LifePointe - Titusville and our CREW 29 Outreach. We were honored to be one of 17 benefactors from this year’s annual golf tournament and humbled to receive a generous donation of $7,500. 🙌

To God be ALL the glory. Jesus Christ is the subject of every bit of this.
He continues to bless this ministry, open doors, provide resources, and send people alongside us to help carry hope to those who need it most. 🔥

What an incredible blessing and encouragement at the recent Pilot Club of Titusville luncheon. ❤️

LifePointe - Titusville was honored to be presented with a check for over $10,000 to continue the work of our CREW 29 Outreach serving our community through “Love in Action.”

On behalf of our entire ministry family, thank you to the wonderful members of the Pilot Club of Titusville for believing in what we do and for investing into the lives of people right here in our community. We love ❤️ Titusville!

This support helps us continue feeding families, caring for those in crisis, helping those experiencing homelessness, serving during difficult times, and being the hands and feet of Jesus to people who need hope. Together we are better!

The check was presented to Chaplain Royce Scooter Morrison and Outreach Director Mary Vick Dowty, but this blessing truly belongs to every volunteer, supporter, and person who stands beside this mission every day.
