Happy Father’s Day!

Today we celebrate fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures whose love, strength, wisdom, and faith help shape generations.

We are grateful for the men who lead with humility, serve with generosity, encourage with kindness, and invest in the lives of others. Their influence is seen in stronger families, encouraged children, and lives changed in ways both great and small.

To all who fill these important roles, thank you. Your presence, example, and legacy matter.

We invite you to join us this morning as we gather in worship, celebrate God’s faithfulness, and give thanks for the people who help shape our lives and our faith.

This week, Indian River Church became a rainforest filled with laughter, worship, friendship, learning, service, and joy.

Across our campus, generations came together to invest in the next generation.

Children arrived each morning eager for adventure. Student leaders faithfully served. Volunteers welcomed, encouraged, taught, and prayed. Families entrusted us with their children, and together we spent the week pointing young hearts toward Jesus.

Throughout Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School, children explored the nature of God through Scripture, worship, friendships, service, and unforgettable experiences. They learned that God is their Creator, that He knows them, that He is their safe place, and that He loves them.

But what makes a week like this so meaningful is not the decorations, activities, or even the incredible energy that fills our campus.

It is seeing the Church be the Church.

It is watching grandparents serve alongside teenagers, parents alongside students, and volunteers of every age invest in the lives of children.

It is witnessing seeds of faith being planted, relationships being strengthened, and young lives being pointed toward Christ.

We are deeply grateful for every volunteer, student leader, parent, staff member, prayer partner, and supporter who helped make this week possible.

The decorations have come down. The classrooms have returned to normal. But the lessons learned, the friendships formed, the prayers offered, and the seeds of faith planted will continue to grow.

We are thankful for all God has done this week and excited for what He will continue to do in the lives of these children, students and families in the days ahead.

To God be the glory!

Wednesday Bible Study Update

Please note that this week’s Wednesday Evening Bible Study with Pastor Stuart will not meet as scheduled.

We invite you instead to join us in praying for the hundreds of children, students, volunteers, and families participating in our Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School this week. God is doing amazing things across our campus, and we are grateful for everyone who is helping make this special week possible.

We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday and hope you will join us as we continue growing together in faith.

Have a blessed week!

Today was a beautiful reminder of what God is doing through His Church.

From families dedicating their children to the Lord, to new members joining the life and mission of our church, to students and adults worshiping together, we witnessed the beauty of generations growing in faith side by side.

We celebrated precious little lives, welcomed new members into our church family, and gathered in worship, prayer, and community. Moments like these remind us that the Church is not simply a place we attend—it is a family united by the grace of Jesus Christ.

📖 “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:47

Today we celebrated God’s faithfulness in every season of life and were reminded that He is still drawing people to Himself, building His Church, and growing His family.

We are grateful for every family, every child, every student, every new member, and every person who calls Indian River Church home. What a joy it is to grow together in faith.

As our IRC Students prepare to return home tomorrow from Word of Life Camp, our hearts are full of gratitude.

Thank you to our church family for faithfully praying for our students and leaders throughout the week. Thank you to our leaders for investing so faithfully in these young people, and to our families for supporting them with love and prayer from home.

We are grateful for the friendships strengthened, the memories made, and the ways God has been at work throughout this special week.

As our students travel home tomorrow, please continue to pray for safe travels and for all God will continue to do in their lives in the days ahead.

Last Sunday, Pastor Stuart reminded us that what we truly believe shapes how we live.

In a world filled with competing voices and changing opinions, Acts 10 points us back to the unchanging truth at the heart of the Christian faith:

Jesus Christ is Lord.
He died for us.
He rose again.
He reigns today.
Forgiveness is found in Him.

Through the story of Cornelius and the witness of the early church, we were challenged to consider a simple but important question:

What do you actually believe—and is it shaping your life?

The Christian faith is more than words we recite. It is trust in the living Christ, whose grace, love, and truth remain our firm foundation.

📖 “Everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.” — Acts 10:43

We are grateful for Pastor Stuart’s message and the reminder that what we believe matters, because what we believe ultimately shapes the way we live.

Today, our IRC Students and leaders headed off to Word of Life Camp, and we couldn’t be more excited for them.

As they begin this week of worship, friendship, adventure, and growth, we invite our church family to join us in prayer.

Pray for safe travels, meaningful connections, encouraging conversations, and hearts that are open to all God has in store.

Pray for our leaders as they invest in these students throughout the week, and pray for families at home as they support them with love and prayer.

We are grateful for these amazing students, thankful for their leaders, and excited to see how God moves in the days ahead!

What a beautiful summer weekend God has given us.

Last Sunday, Kathleen reminded us of the importance of returning to the right point of reference—our Cornerstone, Jesus Christ. It was a timely reminder that when life feels uncertain, busy, or out of alignment, we don’t need a new foundation. We simply return to Him.

As you enjoy your weekend, we encourage you to spend a few moments in God’s Word, in prayer, and in worship.

And if you don’t have a church home, or if it’s been a while since you’ve joined us, we’d love to welcome you tomorrow at Indian River Church.

There is a place for you here.

Join us as we gather to worship, pray, study Scripture, and encourage one another in Christ.
