It's not too late to sign up for CHART archery!
NASP Archery Information:
🎯 Grades 4-12
🎯 Practice: Mondays
🎯 Shooting Season: October - March, could extend to April pending state tournament

FEES: There is a $35 fee per archer which is used to pay for tournament fees, offset maintenance costs for CHART bows/arrows, and to purchase new equipment. Fees can be paid by cash, check or Venmo to chartthomasville.
ADDITIONAL FEES: Each archer will need a team t-shirt to wear for tournaments. If CHART replaces a needed item on a student-owned bow (mostly rests), parents are responsible for reimbursing the cost of the item to CHART. Tournament fees for national qualifiers are not included in the annual archery fees and will need to be paid by parents.
PRACTICE: To comply with NASP rules, all team members must be members of CHART. You do not have to participate in Event Day to be on the archery team. CHART's volunteer coaching staff provides instruction at all team training sessions. Our coaches are homeschooling parents with varying schedules and at times, it may be difficult to coordinate schedules for practice. However, we aim to have 1-2 practices each week on a set schedule as long as two coaches are able to be present. Due to practices being outside, unpredictable weather and equipment that cannot get wet may affect our practice schedule. Coaches will announce practice days (and any changes) as far in advance as possible via your preferred method of contact. Please remember that all team members are responsible for helping set up the range and/or putting the archery equipment away after practice. All practices will be “drop off.” Parents are welcome to stay and observe, however due to the nature of our sport, we ask that any other children stay with you at all times. This is not only for their protection, but our archers’ as well.
EQUIPMENT: CHART owns all bows, targets, arrows and range equipment. Your archer will not need to own a bow to be on the team, but they are more than welcome to purchase one if that is preferred. It is wise to wait until our coaching staff has assessed their eye dominance for use of the proper bow.
COMPETITION: We will announce tournament dates as they are released by the organizing parties.
