DSBC Youth Since the beginning days way back in 1947, Dawson Street has been ministering to the residents of Thomasville, and Thomas county.

What started as a mission church, has now become a vibrant and relevant ministry.

Silent Saturday commemorates the day between the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus when He lay silent in the tomb. His disciples were in a tomb of their own - a tomb of sadness, silence, hopelessness, fear and doubt. Perhaps you feel that way today due to the circumstances of your life. Remember, in spite the hopelessness of this day, Sunday came and Jesus arose! Don’t give in! Don’t give up! Jesus always has the last word - LIFE!

On this Good Friday, we pause to reflect on the sacrifice, love, and grace of our LORD. Good Friday is good because a good and perfect Savior took on our evil and paid the price for our forgiveness. Oh, how we love Jesus! Because HE first loved us!
