Can a person spend decades in church and still not know Jesus?

Summer has a way of pulling us in a hundred different directions, but gathering with the body of Christ is always time well spent.

This Sunday, we’ll worship together, open God’s Word, and make room for Him to challenge us, encourage us, and shape us into the people He’s called us to be. We don’t believe church is about pretending to have it all together, it’s about coming before God with open hearts and letting Him do His work in us.

There is so much to praise God for.

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve watched Him move in big ways and in the everyday moments that often go unseen.

We’ve seen people step into ministry with confidence, using the gifts God has placed inside them to serve His church. We’ve watched people grow bold enough to share the hope of Jesus with their neighbors, coworkers, friends, and the people they encounter throughout their day.

We’ve seen adults willingly sacrifice their time, comfort, and even sleep to pour into the next generation during our Start of Summer Lock-In, choosing to invest in students and show them the love of Christ.

As His Word is shared outside the four walls of the church, we’re finding hearts in our community that are open and hungry for the Gospel. God is preparing the way, and we’re grateful to be part of what He’s doing.

And lastly, we’re seeing genuine community take root. Friendships are growing deeper, people are choosing vulnerability over isolation, and together we’re encouraging one another to become more like Jesus.

These aren’t just good moments; they’re reminders that God is still moving, still changing lives, and still building His Church.

Let’s keep praying, keep serving, keep sharing, and keep celebrating all that He is doing.
