While the school has been closed for two days, our teachers and staff have been hard at work behind the scenes...cleaning, organizing, updating classrooms, attending CPR/First Aid trainings, and preparing thoughtful curriculum plans for the year ahead.

We are so proud of the dedication, heart, and energy they’ve poured into making our campus warm, safe, and ready for learning. 💛

Here’s to a fresh start and a fantastic school year ahead! 👏

The playgrounds have undergone renovations, featuring new sand, updated swings, and the addition of games and activities. Sidewalks and tree trunks have been painted, and a music wall, along with other amenities, will be introduced in the coming weeks. Want to donate? Bubbles, chalk, buckets and shovels, cars and trucks (new or used are always welcome!). Thanks for all who came out to help organize teacher shared spaces and the playgrounds, and of course painting the infant rooms and entryways!!

 We're excited to share some news about our toddler playground! While we say goodbye to the old space, we're thrilled to bring in a fresh new look with new artificial grass. We appreciate your patience during this transition as we close for school improvement and teacher much deserve rest!

In addition, we’ll be adding beautiful sidewalk murals to all the playgrounds. If you're interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you! We plan on creating and organizing the current spaces on the playgrounds. We are offering childcare 7 to 11 if you’re wanting to pitch in and want to join in contact Cassie or Jerimee!

Today, 40 of our Tempe Christian Preschool educators represented our vital field and our impact on children’s lives.

We had the opportunity to speak with our local legislators about what matters to us, including the importance of supporting families in accessing affordable childcare and advocating that our field receives the recognition it deserves.

Early Childhood Day at the Capitol

The Arizona Early Childhood Alliance (AZECA) hosted its 9th annual Day at the Capitol for parents, advocates, and legislators to raise awareness of the importance of a child’s earliest years.
