Have you been thinking about taking the next step in your faith through Water Baptism?

Baptism is a powerful way to publicly declare, “I’ve decided to follow Jesus!” It’s a celebration of what God is doing in your life and a step of obedience that you’ll never forget.

This weekend at Bay Chapel, you have the opportunity to take that step. 🙌

CLOSER WEEK | Day 7: GO

Ephesians 3:14-21
You've spent this week making room.
You've come closer. You've allowed yourself to be known. You've received. You've returned. You've remained. You've practiced trust.

Today, GO.
Grab your Bible and slowly read Ephesians 3:14-21. Pay attention to Paul's prayer that we would be rooted and established in love and know a love that surpasses knowledge.

Then ask:
How is living rooted in His love sending me toward others?
Yesterday, you put someone's name before the Father.

Today, ask one more question:
Father, are You asking me to move toward them?
Maybe that's an invitation to church tomorrow. Maybe it's a text. Maybe it's a conversation. Maybe it's simply continuing to pray.

Don't force something God isn't asking you to do. But don't ignore the nudge if He is.

Tomorrow, Bay Chapel begins gathering at 9:30 + 11:00 AM. We've spent this week asking God to change lives, awaken faith, draw people to Jesus, and prepare our church.
Now we make room.

Father, prepare us for whoever You bring. Give us eyes to see people, hearts ready to love them, and courage to go when You send us.

CLOSER WEEK | Day 6: TRUST
Matthew 7:7-11
Grab your Bible and slowly read today's passage.

Then ask:
What am I seeking elsewhere?
Where are you looking for security, provision, control, or peace instead of trusting your Father?

And then allow today's prayer to turn outward.
Who in your life needs Jesus?
Don't keep that person theoretical today.
Put their name before the Father.
A friend. A neighbor. A coworker. A family member. Someone who has walked away. Someone who may seem completely uninterested in God.

Pray:
Father, draw ______ to Yourself. Let them find God and find life in Jesus. Awaken their heart to You and let them come alive in the hope found in Christ.

We're praying for salvation across our city and asking God to change lives through relationship with Jesus.

This Sunday, August 23, Bay Chapel begins gathering at 9:30 + 11:00 AM, making room for more people to find God and find life in Jesus.

Day 5: remain.
Grab your physical Bible and spend some time in John 15:1-11.
Jesus uses a simple picture: a branch doesn't produce life by trying harder. It bears fruit by remaining connected to its source.

As you sit with the Father today, ask:
Where am I striving?
Where are you working harder, controlling, producing, proving, or carrying something in your own strength that the Father is inviting you to surrender?
Don't turn today's question into another problem to solve.

Remain.

Let yourself be with Him.

And as we remain in His love, let's allow His heart to turn ours toward people.
Together, we're praying:
Father, prepare our church.
Give us Your heart for the people You are preparing to bring. Let us see people the way You see them. Make us ready to welcome, love, serve, and walk alongside those who are searching for hope and those who don't yet know Jesus.

This Sunday, August 23, we begin gathering at 9:30 + 11:00 AM, making room for more people to find God and find life in Jesus.

May what God is doing in us prepare us for what He wants to do through us.

Revelation 2:2-5

Today, grab your Bible and sit slowly with Jesus' words to the church in Ephesus.
Then ask:
What competes with my first love?

Tonight, we won't just pray this individually.
We're returning together. 🙏🙏
Join us for Closer Prayer Night tonight at 7 PM.
We're coming together to worship, listen, pray, and seek the Lord for our lives, our homes, our church, and the people who don't yet know Jesus.

Our prayer is simple:
Father, return us to our first love.

And as we prepare for two services beginning Sunday, August 23 at 9:30 + 11:00 AM, we're asking God to prepare us for the people He loves and the changed lives we believe He wants to bring.

Grab your Bible and slowly read today's Scripture.
Then sit with this question:
Where am I seeking love elsewhere?

Don't rush to answer it. Allow the Father to show you where you've looked to people, achievement, approval, success, or anything else to provide what He wants you to receive from Him.

Today we're praying:
Father, root us in Your love.
And we're especially praying for our homes. Ask the Father to draw spouses, children, teenagers, and family members closer to Himself, especially those who don't yet know Jesus.

As we prepare to make room for more people to find God and find life in Jesus, two services begin Sunday, August 23 at 9:30 + 11:00 AM.
