MESSAGE THEMES FOR SEPTEMBER
This month's series is entitled: QUESTIONS WE ASK. For three weeks in September we shall think about God questions. This month we shall struggle with issues we don't understand as we seek answers from the God who does.

September 6 "The Why Questions"

WORSHIP SCHEDULE CHANGE .................................September 20
We shall return to 9:00 worship inside schedule until next Spring. It has been another wonderful year both inside and outside. Now the lazy Pastor will only have to preach once a Sunday.

WE COULD CONTINUE TO HELP OUT
We helped the 10 year old boy who was injured in the Tama E-Bike accident in July. We could continue to assist this family. His mom will not be able to go back to work for his lengthy recovery at home. She is a single parent. If you would like to help them, please indicate with note: Bike Accident. And your donation will be directed.

AUGUST 2026

ONE WORSHIP SERVICE ON AUGUST 16 --------------------------9:00 AM
Pastor will be away on Sunday, August 16th. One worship service will be offered with Communion at 9:00 am. Lutheran Church of Hope out of West Des Moines will provide the Sunday message that morning.

MESSAGE THEMES DURING AUGUST:
Noah built the Ark in the sunshine; in other words, he prepared in advance for a storm that was to come. He used days of sunshine to get himself ready. He didn't wait until the last minute. Noah let God close the door, and he trusted God to reopen it sometime later. In his story he teaches us to prepare ahead of time for the unknowns of the future. During this month we shall learn how to build our own arks in four areas.
