Women at Cross Church

Women at Cross Church Our multi-generational group knows God isn't finished with us yet. We would love to have you join us! It's what we do!

Our multi-generational team hopes to give the women of Cross Church a place to be accepted as they are. Knowing that God is not finished with us yet we encourage each other to grow in Christ. We have borrowed the 4 S's as the Pillars for Women’s Ministry; Study, Serve, Support and Social. They are explained below:

Study--Womens Bible Study is focused on discipleship, which includes educating wome

n to prayerfully study and apply God's Word in their everyday lives. Serve-- We want to serve our community with you to make Jesus known outside of our church building. Women at Cross Church encourage all women to serve together by offering various opportunities to do so throughout the year. Support-- We pray alongside each other when we are going through hardships. We believe in the power of prayer and are honored to pray with and for you. We also offer mentoring opportunities for women and use Titus 2 as a guide for older women teaching those younger than them. Social- if we are doing the 3 things above, socializing will come naturally. We have so much fun anytime we get together. Sister's in Christ, know you are welcome here no matter where you are in life! (the 4 S's are from Women's Ministry Toolbox. Women at Cross Church has borrowed the acronym which fits so perfectly what God has called us to do)

Help assemble care packages for a local women’s shelter and write encouraging notes to the women receiving them.
Donations may be brought on Thursdays from 9 – 11 in the worship center or to any of the Sunday services, by October 2nd.
We will assemble the packs with new donated items from the list below:
$25 Gift Cards to Amazon, Target, or Walmart
Body Lotion
Shampoo & Conditioner
Unscented Laundry Detergent Pods
Twin Sheet Sets
Disinfecting Wipes
Sensitive Skin Body Wash

We Care Day is always a great time for fellowship, knowing how much our donations will be appreciated !

Butterflies, “Bites” & Baskets!
I love to see Butterflies fluttering by the garden. When I was younger, I called them “flutterbys”! Well, it IS what they do 😊

To REFLECT: There are lessons to be learned from butterflies, but you will need to join us on Saturday, March 22 @ 10am in the Worship Center to find out what they are! REGISTER Online by NOON on March 20 Details coming soon!

For FUN: We invite you to bring one of your favorite recipes for us to taste, and a copy of the recipe for us to make a small “cookbook.” The choice is yours, it can be a dessert item, a main course, a special salad, candy, something hot or cold, anything you wish! Make just enough for all of us to get a small taste (bite). If you would prefer to just bring a recipe card, that’s ok too. Be sure you let us know when you register what your plans are, so we can plan to have enough “tastes.”

To SERVE: One of the most important things we will do is to assemble Easter Baskets for our Foster Kids Ministry. The church will have an opportunity to donate from the list below for 2 weeks to help us fill the baskets. Our Goal is to fill 50 baskets for the kids. This is always so much fun as we put them together, knowing how much they will be appreciated!
