We are officially halfway through our Backpack Drive for the West Valley Community Center (formally the Dysart Community Center). Our goal is 300 backpacks and we have a ways to go, but we know God is faithful and will provide what is needed.

We’re going to eat good tomorrow for our church anniversary! Make sure to bring your appetite, first for the Word, then for some BBQ. We’re kicking off our study through the Gospel of Mark. See you all tomorrow.

A few weeks back a member of our church, Mark Mandery, suffered a bad fall causing a concussion and broken ribs. While in the ER for the fall, tests showed that his stents from a recent bypass were completely blocked and they needed to place all new stents. As Mark recovers and next steps are put in place, let's make sure the last thing they need to worry about is food. Keep the Dawn and Mark in prayer also.

Mark works as a home inspector with the VA and fell 10 feet off a ladder, causing a concussion and breaking 7 ribs. He is also a cardiac patient and has had stents placed just last year.
