🙏 Prayer Update!

Thank you for praying for our team in West Africa!

After a dangerous 12-hour journey and a few vehicle breakdowns, the team arrived safely to host shoebox outreach events in a sensitive, hard-to-reach area.

Hundreds of children attended the events, many hearing the Gospel for the very first time! Local ministry partners were amazed by the overwhelming response to receive Jesus Christ. 🙌

One mother was overjoyed when her twin daughters received gift-filled shoeboxes with matching items, and one young boy received the soccer ball he had been longing for!

Our team has returned home safely and shared that none of this would have been possible without prayer!

On Sunday, June 7th, we will have a Guest Speaker ( Joyce Clayberger ) during the church service talk about Operation Christmas Child (OCC). This is in preparation for Vacation Bible School’s mission collection. We plan to collect donations of “wow items” or monetary donations as you feel led and we hope everyone can return in the fall for our first “OCC packing party” as we will fill the shoeboxes!

Grateful and blessed to have church members who dedicated their time this weekend to get the pavilion cleaned up and the flowerbeds done. This week the focus will be getting VBS set up!

Zac praises God for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift he received when he was a boy in Fiji. Now, he works in children’s ministry and helps his church in the U.S. pack shoeboxes for boys and girls in need around the world.
