During the Friday Night Shabbat Services on May 22, we will celebrate Shavuot — God‘s having given us the Torah, which we have been privileged to study and debate for more than 3,000 years. The shortened service will be followed by a study service and dairy Oneg. Shavuot commemorates one of the defining moments in Jewish history: the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai.
