📖 Sunday Sermon Recap: *The Rest of the Story – Part 1***
What a meaningful time we had together this Sunday at Community Baptist Church!
We began in **Zechariah 12:6–11** and centered our message on **Romans 11:11–16**, uncovering more of God’s incredible plan and His faithful work throughout history.
Here are three key takeaways from the message:
1️⃣ God’s Amazing Plan**
God’s grace is His alone to give—it is unearned, undeserved, and given according to His perfect will. As we looked at *Romans 9:22–23* and *Romans 11:11*, we were reminded that God’s plan is far greater than we can see.
Even in rejection, God is at work—the rejection of the Jews opened the door for salvation to the Gentiles, and in turn, Gentiles believing stirs a desire in the Jews to come to Christ.
At the heart of the Gospel is not simply sin—it’s grace. God’s desire is always redemption.
2️⃣ God’s Amazing Blessings**
God’s promises are still unfolding today. Through passages like *Romans 11:12–16*, *Ephesians 1:3–14*, and *Isaiah 65:20*, we see how God continues to save a remnant and pour out His blessings.
His plan is not finished—He is still working, still calling, and still keeping His promises.
3️⃣ What’s Our Role?**
In *Romans 11:13–14*, we are called to **magnify the Gospel with our lives**—to make it look as beautiful as it truly is.
Ask yourself:
* Are you joyful?
* Are you forgiving?
* Are people drawn to you—or do they turn away?
We are called to speak the truth **in love**, not out of pride, and to serve with all our strength through Christ—just as Paul did. Let’s be people who reflect grace, not judgment.
✨ God is writing a bigger story than we can see—and we are part of it.
