Week one of CFBC’s youth mission trip to North Star Bible Camp in Willow Alaska is complete. We had a fantastic week, with students serving as counselors, support staff, and worship band. They worked 16-18 hour days all week and ministered to over 60 children. By God’s grace we saw nine children put their faith in Christ, many were led by our students.
I couldn’t be more proud of our team. The 16 members of team 1 got to enjoy a day of feeding reigneeer, playing in snow, and hiking Hatchers Pass with the 16 members of team 2 who arrived at 5AM this morning.
Please pray for safe travels for team 1 and for Ryan Woods and the 16 members of team 2 who will help lead the second week of elementary camp this coming week.
Church- this is what we give towards. Your weekly service, faithful giving, and your prayers are producing disciples who make disciples.

To God be the Glory, great things he has done!!!

We had a super first night of FCA Elite Basketball Camp at Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church. I think about 75 students from K-12 are participating. Coach Bret Campbel did such a great job of running each session, which focuses on developing fundamental basketball skills. I loved how he was able to build skills into the very new kids but also challenge the high level players. Each session finished with a devotional message from Ephesians 4:29 on using our words for encouragement and building up. And special thanks to coach Rod Johns for helping lead the training. Our real hope is not just to build basketball skills, but Christlike character, and introduce Jesus to those who don’t yet know him. Please pray for this camp over the next six weeks!
