CHILDREN’S SHOEBOXES: Once again, it is time to fill Shoe Boxes for Samaritan’s Purse. We will be collecting boxes through Friday, November 20th. Katrina will gather the boxes from each of the three churches and deliver them. There is a recommended shipping charge of $10 per box. This charge also covers the cost of a book for each child titled: “The Greatest Gift of All” along with enrollment in a 12-week Bible course. Upon completion of the Bible course each child will receive a Bible as a graduation gift. Please contact the Charge Office should you have any questions.

ALL YOU CARE TO EAT SOUP SUPPER;
All You Care To Eat Soup Supper at the Strattanville Fellowship Hall on Saturday, November 7. There will be multiple selections of soups, crackers, drinks and desserts. Cost is 10.00 per person. If there are any soups left, we will sell them for $8.00 a quart.

COMMUNITY LUNCHEON: The Community Luncheon at the Strattanville Fellowship Hall will take place on Saturday, November 14th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. MENU ITEMS: Walking Tacos, Dessert, and Drink for $5.00, or Sloppy Joe, Macaroni Salad, Dessert, and Drink for $5.00. Proceeds will benefit our N.O.W. Fund which helps us help others.

CHRISTMAS BLESSING TREE
Something new that will hopefully become an annual tradition in our church. As a blessed church looking forward to the Christmas Season, we would like to give a blessing to others in our community. And we came up with a way you all have an opportunity to participate in! We are putting a Christmas Tree in the overflow area of the Strattanville Church during the month of November. The tree will be used to hang mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves to warm the hands, heads, and hearts of C-L school children in our area for Christmas. Please add your donation to brighten our tree and watch the magic of Christmas unfold. Our tree will go up Saturday, October 31st, and we can add our donations to it during the month of November through Sunday, December 6th. God Bless!!!

ALL SAINTS SUNDAY: We will be celebrating All Saints Sunday on Sunday, November 1st. We are developing a list of saints from our church family who have passed on to eternity during this past year. We are asking that you contact the church office with names of saints who were affiliated with our congregations so that we may honor them during this service.

What an absolute fun filled day we had at the Strattanville Global Methodist Church during its “Paint and Snack” event. We raised funds for our Nurture, Outreach, and Witness program all while spending time with an amazing group of people. We plan to host another event in the spring. So, plan to join us. All are welcome!
