What happens when you walk into a place carrying so much Kingdom authority that darkness can no longer remain comfortable? In this powerful message, Apostle James continues the “When Your Presence Becomes a Problem.”
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas were simply walking in their divine assignment when their presence exposed a spirit that had been operating openly and profitably. Paul did not negotiate with it, he commanded it to come out in the name of Yeshua! What happened next reveals a powerful Kingdom truth: when your presence disrupts what darkness has been benefiting from, opposition may follow.
Paul and Silas were attacked, beaten, imprisoned, and placed in stocks but the prison could not imprison their praise. At midnight, they prayed and sang praises to Adonai, and suddenly the foundations of the prison began to shake! Doors opened. Chains fell. Heaven responded.
Is your presence disturbing anything in the kingdom of darkness or have you become too comfortable with what Heaven sent you to confront? Can you recognize when something sounds right but is operating from the wrong spirit? What happens when obedience to your assignment costs you your comfort, reputation, relationships, or acceptance? Can you still pray when you've been wounded? Can you still praise when you've been treated unjustly? Has your midnight season silenced your worship or revealed the authority of your worship?
And perhaps the greatest question: What if the resistance you're experiencing isn't evidence that you're outside of Adonai's will but evidence that your presence has become a problem for Hell's agenda?
When Kingdom people show up carrying Kingdom authority, systems are exposed, spirits are confronted, chains are broken, prisoners are impacted, and foundations begin to shake.
You were not sent to blend in. You were not commissioned to make darkness comfortable. You were sent to make GOOD TROUBLE!
