Reminder that we will celebrate the life of our friend Cathy Deatherage on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00-4:00 at Lacy Funeral Home.
We will share a potluck meal together between Sunday morning worship service and the funeral service at 2:00. The meal and the funeral service will both be held at Huckabay Baptist Church.

Celebrate the life of Catherine Deatherage and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

Pray for Tyler Stegall—he is in Ft. Worth with orthopedic surgery pending on his foot from a skid steer accident. We will update with any word on his condition.

Update: Surgery went well. Tyler should go home in the next couple of days.

Cathy Deatherage peacefully passed away this morning. We will post visitation and funeral arrangements as soon as they are finalized.
Our church family is grateful for Cathy and her love for all of us. She is a special part of Huckabay Baptist Church and our community.

For those wanting to visit with Cathy Deatharage, please limit your visits to morning time only. If there is a “Do Not Disturb” sign on her door, please honor that. She appreciates every visit and contact. This will give her ample opportunity to rest each day.

Cathy Deatherage is in Lone Star Care facility and has been placed on hospice care. Please pray for her and her family during these difficult days. Our church family is deeply touched by this news.

Joyce Coats passed away this morning in the Brownwood Hospital after a brief illness. Please pray for her son, Junior, and her family as they grieve this loss.
