“God’s grace goes before us, God’s grace covers us, and God’s grace carries us all the way home, if we’ll only trust it and walk in it.”

Yesterday, we remembered how God made a way for His people before they could ever rescue themselves. He gave them the Passover lamb, covered them with His promise, and led them out of bo***ge.

That same grace is at work in our lives today. God reaches for us before we reach for Him. He covers us through Jesus, strengthens us along the way, and faithfully leads us home. Our part is to trust His promise and walk wherever He leads.

Prayer: Gracious God, thank You for going before us and staying with us. Help us trust Your grace and follow You one faithful step at a time. Amen.

Today, we give thanks for the work of our hands and for all whose labor serves their families, neighbors, and communities. We also remember those who are searching for work, carrying heavy burdens, or struggling to find rest.

Whatever your work may be—paid or unpaid, seen or unseen—may you do it with love, knowing that your faithfulness matters to God.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

God hears the cries of His people, provides a way of rescue, and leads them into freedom.

Tomorrow, we will explore Exodus 12:1–14 and the first Passover as we consider the message “Let My People Go.”

As a gentle preparation for worship, consider setting aside one small distraction tonight or tomorrow morning. Use that time to pray for our worship service and for someone who needs God’s grace. This simple fast does not earn God’s love. It simply creates space to turn our attention toward the God who already loves us.

The song celebrates the God who fights for His people, breaks the power of bo***ge, and leads them into freedom. That message points us toward Sunday’s Scripture, Exodus 12:1–14.

In the first Passover, God heard the cries of His people and provided a way of rescue. Their freedom did not come through their own strength. It came through God’s grace, His promise, and their willingness to trust and obey Him.

Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of me.” — Luke 22:19

Communion is a special meal that helps us remember Jesus. The bread reminds us of His body, and the cup reminds us of His blood. Together, they remind us that Jesus loves us, gave His life for us, and welcomes us into God’s family.

Communion is also a way God shares His grace with us. Grace is God’s love and help that we do not have to earn. At the Lord’s table, we remember that Jesus is with us and that we belong to one another.

Wonder question: Why do you think Jesus chose a meal to help His followers remember Him?

Family activity: At your next meal, let each person name one thing Jesus has done that you want to remember. Then pray together:

Jesus, thank You for loving us and welcoming us to Your table. Help us remember You and share Your love with others. Amen.

This Sunday, we will explore Exodus 12:1–14 and the story of the first Passover. As God prepared His people to leave Egypt, He showed them that freedom would come through His grace—not through their own strength.

Three takeaways from Sunday’s message, “Who Am I?”

1. God can use every part of your story.

Moses spent forty years in the wilderness before God called him from the burning bush. What looked like wasted time was part of God’s preparation. Your delays, detours, and past mistakes are not beyond God’s grace.

2. God’s presence matters more than your qualifications.

When Moses asked, “Who am I?” God answered, “I will be with you.” We do not have to know everything or feel completely ready. God equips us one step at a time.

3. A willing heart can share God’s mercy.

You do not need special training to care for someone. Today, you could call someone who is lonely, make a card for someone who is sick, share food with a neighbor, offer a ride, or pray for someone who is hurting. Children, teenagers, adults, and people of different abilities can all find a way to show God’s love.

Here is today’s gentle challenge: Choose one small act of mercy and trust God to use what you can offer.

“The question was never ‘Who is Moses?’ The question was ‘Who is I AM, and is He with me?’ And the answer, for you, today, is yes. He is with you. He always has been, and He always will be.”

Yesterday, we heard Moses ask, “Who am I?” God did not respond with a list of Moses’ abilities. He answered with a promise: “I will be with you.”

That same promise gives us courage today. Whatever God is calling you to face, you do not have to face it in your own strength. God is present, and He will equip you for each step.

Let us pray: Faithful God, when we feel afraid or unqualified, help us remember that You are with us. Give us courage to trust You and say yes to Your call. Amen.
