Hello SCC!,
We wound up going to the Nebraska State Fair with "the other States family" on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. We were blessed with half-way decent weather and of course a fabulous 12th time to do this with them!
Tonight is the first Iron Men's meeting of the year at Auburn Christian Church 6 p.m.
This Lord's Day my sermon series "The Superlative Christ" continues with #4 "Take Me to Your Leader" from Hebrews 2:5-13 especially verse 10.
Thankful for Susan Petersen for playing piano for us at Colonial Acres services!
Wednesday, September 9th is Bible study at Dot Kelsay's 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 9th is Council Meeting at 7 p.m.
Grateful to be serving alongside you in Southeast Nebraska!

Hooray for sunshine!
We had a great time at the Iowa State Fair with the Clarke's :) :)
This Lord's Day my sermon series continues "The Superlative Christ": #3 "The Danger of Drifting" Hebrews 2:1-4.
Today I have services at Colonial Acres, 4 p.m.
Tuesday, September 1st we go to the Nebraska State Fair with "the other States Family" :) :)
Wednesday, September 2nd is Bible study at the parsonage 6:30 p.m.
Thursday is Iron Men meeting at 6 p.m. at The Auburn Christian Church.

Fog today.
Saturday the 22nd Penny and I get to be with Donell, Aiden, and Tori Clarke at the Iowa State Fair!! :) :)
Thanks for time off September 17-19 to be at my alma mater, Summit Christian College's 75th anniversary celebration of training Christians to serve in ministries :)
This Lord's Day we continue our series in the book of Hebrews titled, "The Superlative Christ" #2 "The Incomparable Christ." and Scripture text from Hebrews 1:2-14.
Wednesday, the 26th is Bible study at the parsonage, 6:30 p.m.

Sunshine and summer go together good :)
Oops on the 15th for Iowa State Fair. It will be Saturday the 22nd.
Council meeting was good.
This Lord's Day I will be starting a new series of sermons from the book of Hebrews! The title is, "The Superlative Christ!" #1 "When God Speaks, People Should LIsten." with Scripture texts from Hebrews 1:1-3; 2:1-4; 3:7-8; 4:12-16.
