The book of Obadiah reminds us that pride leads us away from God, but humility keeps us close to Him. While nations may trust their own strength, God calls His people to trust in Him alone. When we walk humbly before the Lord, He guides our steps, protects our hearts, fulfills His purpose in our lives.
The kingdom shall be the Lords. Obadiah 1:21s love.

Praise God for a successful Vacation Bible School last week! Thank you to all the volunteers, teachers, helpers, parents, and children who made it such a wonderful time of learning, fellowship, and growing in God

VBS is filled with joyful laughter, heartfelt prayers, and the powerful sharing of God's word, with Bibles inspiring minds and uplifting spirits.

The book of Hosea reminds us that even when Gods people wandered far from Him, His love never failed. Through Hosea story, we see a God who pursues, forgives and restores. No matter where we have been, Gods grace calls us back home.
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely. Hosea 14:4
Today, rest in the faithful love of the Lord.

When Joshua led Israel to the Jordan River, the waters did not part until the priests stepped into the river by faith. God could have parted the waters first, but He chose to work through their obedience. Faith often means taking the next step even when we cannot see the whole path ahead.
Joshua understood that victory was never about human strength or careful planning alone, it was about trusting God and allowing Him to remain in control. As the people stepped forward, God made a way where there seemed to be none.
Today God still calls His people to step out in faith while keeping their hands off the steering wheel of life. Our responsibility is obedience; God’s responsibility is the outcome. When we trust Him with the direction, He proves Himself faithful every step of the way.
Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous…for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go
May God give us the courage to step forward in faith and the wisdom to let Him lead the way

Pentecost reminds us that God did not leave His people to walk alone. As the disciples gathered in prayer the Holy Spirit came with power, filling ordinary people to do extraordinary things for God’s kingdom, Acts 2:1-4. The same spirit who empowered the early church still lives and works in believers today.
This Pentecost, may we open our hearts to the Spirits leading, trust His power, and boldly share the love of Christ with those around us.
Not by might not by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord God Almighty. Zechariah 4:6

The book of Micah reminds us that God is not looking for spectators, but for faithful servants who are willing to step out and step up. Through the prophet, God asks, “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with God” Micah 6:8.
As a church, stepping out means trusting God enough to leave our comfort zones and follow His call. Stepping out means taking responsibility to serve, love our neighbors, and to stand for what is right. God has placed us here for such a time as this, not to remain passive, but to be His hands and feet in the world.
May we be a church that courageously steps out in faith and faithfully steps up in obedience, knowing that God goes before us.
